I have always received first-class care from Dr. Eklund and his staff. Every visit, Dr. Eklund goes above and beyond to ensure I receive the highest quality of care. I trust him implicitly and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an eye doctor.

I recently had new polarized sun glass lenses made for very lightly used frames that I've had for a few years. I am very impressed with the staff here. Nice, friendly, caring, and competent. What more could you ask for? People often tell me that my standards are too high, but the staff here have even higher standards than I do. They had my lenses remade twice because they weren't satisfied with how the lenses fit in the frames. I'm very pleased with my new sun glasses.

The most thorough eye exams that I have ever had. The staff are always friendly. Doc explains everything in terms that you will understand. Not only have they helped me with my vision, they also help with my eye health. Dry or leaking eyes…they listen and help you. I’ve never had better eye care in my life. I encourage everyone to give them a try.

My family and I has seen Dr Eklund for almost 20 years. When he moved to Wellington, we followed. He is the most caring, knowledgeable, and attentative eye care doctor we ever met. Throughout the years, I have been through many eye emergencies and procedures...he has saved my eyesight. He has detected other illnesses from my routine eye exam and alerted my PCM. His staff is wonderful, as well. They are very kind and polite. They make you feel like family. The facility is always neat and clean. I am truly blessed to have found them.

We've been patients of Wellington Eye Care since it began its tenure in Wellington. The care surpasses anything we had encountered from other practices over the decades prior to beginning with them. Dr. Eklund has in-depth knowledge of every aspect of eye care and problems we've needed/experienced, and is excellent in communicating with patients. His equipment is modern and top-notch. We could not be happier with a care-giver.

Nice and intelligent people, but every time I go I feel like I am being nickel-and-dimed. Not the best for an average-healthy young person just wanting an annual exam. They will find something minorly wrong and charge you extra for it. They rush me through 5 different rooms with high-tech tests which is wonderful, except when it causes your bill to go sky high (beyond the $49 optional laser scan). I once voiced a small concern which lead to multiple tests. Never saw a full estimate beforehand and felt pressured due to doctor’s fast talking and medical terms. Then came the $900 bill! Recently updated my prescription due to a slight change and that he asked if I got headaches (which I do). Then it comes to finding out that they billed the visit to my medical insurance leaving me over $200 on my bill when I only went for my annual visit as fully covered by my vision insurance. Every visit feels rushed, expensive, and like they don’t have the time to actually walk you through what each visit will consist of. Every time I feel scammed after the visit.

I just want to say that my experience at Wellington Eye Care was terrific. The staff is wonderful I was greeted with a smile from Monique and Bailey. They made feel right at home. Those two are so sweet and very likable. Austin who took me back was great too he was up beat and has a nice smile and made me like I was important. Dr. Eklund cares about his patients he explains everything to you and is very welcoming, listens and is easy to talk to. Thank you for the best experience. Kelly is very sweet and is there if you have questions. When it was time to get glasses Julia helped me pick out the perfect pair. She is amazing and easy to talk to she made me feel right at home. I just love this staff and would recommend them to everyone. If you want that feeling of being part of a family this is the place for you.
