Aster Opticals - Dubai Mall

Went to Dubai with my mom, for the first time! Had heard that I could get prescription glasses at a more affordable price than in the states.. Went on the first day of our trip, got an eye exam along with great service and options, from Julie. My prescription is complex - with astigmatism, progressives, different on each eye. Ended up buying a pair of glasses at a great price. The best part was that I was able to pick them up three days later!! & Have gotten tons of compliments 🤗

Went there, they offered free eye test, then choose to buy 2 3 months boxes. He then offered me to try the blue light lenses for 2 day see if I like then and he told me I could return the boxes I bought in 72 hours if they were unopened, 2 days later talk to the guy telling him I like the blue light one, let me try them for a month and I’ll buy and choose more of the one I like most a month later, let me try for a month to make sure it goes well. and he tells me the 3 months 2 boxes are not refundable and I actually would need to pay more for the other ones. Very nice. Also just looked on other websites and other places. The 2 3 months I paid 316 US dollars would be 150$ cheaper.

Disappointed with the service. Needed to get glasses, chose this optics based on good reviews Eye test: I let the doctor know that I am wearing -2.5, -2.75 contact lenses, but somehow she ended up prescribing me -2 and -2.25 glasses, in which I don’t see well + my eyes didn’t feel well because of astigmatism glass I came back to fix, they removed astigmatism , which helped with eye strain, but didn’t help to see better As I came back the second time, I talked to an Indian sales representative (or whatever his position is in the store), who spoke to me in yelling manner - so rude and unprofessional !!! Ended up spending 2500 aed and not being able to use my glasses cause I literally don’t see in them
