I had a horrific experience with this doctor at Manipal Hospital during my child’s eye check-up. My 6-year-old has special needs and while I understand not every doctor is familiar with autism or communication challenges, I was shocked by the complete lack of understanding or patience displayed by this particular woman. When I tried to explain that my child wouldn't be able to follow the verbal instructions she was giving him, not only did she dismiss me, but she also continued to ask him complex questions that were impossible for him to comprehend. It was as if my concerns didn’t matter at all. This kind of disregard for both the child’s condition and a parent’s input is unacceptable in any medical setting. It was incredibly frustrating and upsetting to witness my child being put in a situation where their needs were ignored. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, especially for children with special needs.
