"Vatsalya " Animal Care Trust, Shaktinagar

I reached out to this animal trust to provide shelter for six abandoned puppies infected with a virus. They took good care of them, and I noticed many other injured dogs being cared for at the shelter. The place is clean and well-maintained. However, the male staff members are a bit rough when handling the little puppies. Overall, this is the best animal care center.

VAATSALYA (Animal Care Trust) doing rescue and care for wounded animals and orphaned puppies and kittens. Animal Care Trust(ACT) is a hospital for sick and injured community animals only. It is one of the best and very well managed Animal hospital Shelter for the community animals in mangalore who deal in the overall management of animal welfare, be of any kind or type. They have an amazing Vet from little Paws and the staff as well as volunteers are trained under vets in particular on spot treatments as several healthy animals need not be brought to the shelter as there is always risk of air borne infection. All volunteers are working individuals who make time for their activity at the shelter and also for week day rescues at times. The staff also go on daily route catches and daily medication of other animals at the shelter, hence they request people to get the injured animal if it's very serious or outside city limits. Also they don't relocate the animals, they leave them in familiar places, after sterilization, as they keep getting a lot of needy animals who need space at the shelter. The staff at VAATSALYA work long hours, given the nature of their work. Compassion and love for animals keep them going even in challenging circumstances.Their kindness and expertise in caring for animals contribute to creating a positive environment for both the animals and the team. I request those who have been criticising from outside, to volunteer for VAATSALYA atleast one day, spend time with the animals, interact with them, grooming them, take them for walks, and cleaning their living spaces. You will then get to know what the team is doing. Once you are with them you will definitely be motivated to love and care for these innocent creatures. I promise this will be a source of blessings and happiness for you and your family.It's important to appreciate and support organisations like VAATSALYA, and it's equally important for each one of us to contribute in any way we can to make this world a better place for animals and humans alike *Loins club is conducting a great initiative of free adoption of kittens & puppies for free of cost. A good place and initiative taken by the people to look after the pets. But we had been there to give them a cat that we found on the road. When we to that place, no one responded us, we waited for so long.. Still it's okay... Most of the pets that are found here are injured. 🥺

These people came to our street and took away one dog in a very torturing manner. He put a stick into its mouth, locked it by its neck and threw it into the van like dumping a waste 😡 and you are called animal care trust?? Where is the care?

This is a animal hospital and they take only injured animals. Someone had abandoned two kittens near my home. One was badly injured, and unfortunately didn't make it. They were not supposed to take care of the healthy kitten but they went out of their way to help. These are genuinely good people this world needs. I'll always be grateful to them. Will never forget this kindness. Hopefully will return the favour someday.

It’s over 4 years of knowing ACT , I have been helped by ACT at multiple emergencies. I have reported and got treated Sick -injured stray dog & kitten in my locality multiple times . Sadly looking at a few negative reviews is something I would least except. One needs to visit the shelter first and before making a negative comment. Getting the sick/injured to the shelter is the main task and as the staff is involved in rescue , vaccination- neuter drives most of the times they are unable for the rescue at the location . if one can do that the doctors & staff try their best. ACT is a NGO , a limited staff yet working to the best possible and volunteers around the city being the helping hand. Though I am not an enrolled volunteer at times I have been requested to rescue and drop in Case of injured stray nearby , which I am thankful for having me as part in the noble cause and also available for future too. So to the negative comments there could be a bad experience like no immediate response just be a little considerate , All together only then we can make it work better.

Animal trust care has a excellent service,, with polite Proffessoinal staff,, they do value about animals,, Animal trust care they does service in mangaluru,, still they traveled all the way to Gurupura kaikamba,, to rescue injured female street dog,, Hats off to Animal Care trust and the team!!
