Dr.Oommen's Eye Hospital & Micro Surgery Centre

I visited this hospital with pain in eyes.The dr. Rithu was in a hurry while consulting. Dr prescribed an eye drop and ointment for a week. I experienced severe pain while examining my eyes. But she didn't give me anything for my pain.

Personally, I didn't find the staffs working there very friendly. However, because of the ease of travel, I chose this hospital to perform my dad's cataract operation.

Please speed up the process, for each and everything they used to send to the First floor where the area is congested, people are even standing waiting for their turn hours because of the slow process, the main issue in the first floor is there is no air circulation or proper Air conditioning. Kindly pls speed up ur process and pls don't make people wait so long for ur lengthy process, as if people don't have any other work, just to waste time in ur clinic. Overall the Medical treatment and Eye surgery have good name all over the Area as the people prefer to visit ur clinic. Kindly pls fix small small issues and give gud service.

Had a pretty good experience. One thing I am disappointed about is that they did not give me the prescription sheet once I got the prescriptions from the pharmacy.

Lack of coordination, waiting time is really high (Mainly reception area) Even after taking appointment, we had to wait so long to get a token number. Luckily nurse with doctor didn't take much time. Personally we had good results from Dr. Oommen, for my kids and husband. Mother's consultation was with Dr. Mareen even she is a good Doctor

The patient experience was very good and I cannot thank the staff and nurses for being so professional and ensuring all risks and medical checks were covered. They ensured my mother's operation went smoothly without any mishaps and the standard of care/communication was far superior to our previous experience a few months ago. I must congratulate the managers, nurses , staff and doctors for addressing several issues that I previously criticised (in a previous review) and can't praise them enough .

Recently, as per their examination and prescription, I got a new pair of glasses, but since my vision wasn't clear did a retest after a week and found that the previous readings were wrong. Even though I raised a complaint, they were not ready to accept their mistake or for any compromise. What surprised me the most was the advice I got from the  main Dr himself (Dr. Oomen). His advice was to buy a new pair of glasses with the correct readings and to use the wrong glasses at home, which causes a lot of discomfort and strain. Was really disappointed by this response I got from their staff and Drs. I regret wasting my valuable hours and money there for absolutely no use at all. I hope no one will have such a bitter experience as I did.

I had visited this hospital on 13April 22 on which I had an appointment with Dr Oommen. I was unsatisfied with the service and cleanliness.Dr Oommen had recommended me to meet Dr Jacob Mathew. When I met Dr Jacob, he did not give me a chance to explain my problem. He was very rude and told me he did not have time to explain as he too may patients outside.. . Very unproffessional doctor and service as we patients pay money to get an appointment ..
