Westend Eye Hospital

This is the subsidiary branch of main westend hospital at Kacherippadi. However consultancy is done by the main doctor himself and refers to the prime branch if needed. Its the best eye hospital in Cochin. My father's cataract operation for both the eyes were done here. Dr David Akkarra is very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. The hospital promise look very small - however the equipments are modern and they have flawless procedure which are so quick. Staffs are cordial too. Highly recommended!!👌👌

Good doctor, but everything else is absolutely worse. The service is bad. The medicines are expensive. They charge huge amounts of money from the public but do not provide a proper bill or even a copy of the prescription. They DO NOT ACCEPT UPI OR CARD PAYMENTS. All these activities make them highly suspicious towards tax evasion.

I have 20 years of experience with this hospital.They provide the best service and readily available for all the concerns .My mother and mother in law did the cataract surgery here , it was successful. I did my pterigium surgery here and it is successful. Dr Davis Akkara & his wife are very humble and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the services rendered & i recommend this hospital to everyone.

I am a patient of these doctors from 2001 onwards. Both the doctors are very good and caring. They know how to take care of patients well and you get the spectacles too at a low cost. I Wonder how the recent comments came up . Either they are of friends of rivals or some mistake in some way.

How he got his degree.arrogant doctor and the worst eye hospital ever visited.he is promoting his own hospital by depromoting other hospitals.his attitude towards patients is also very bad. Hello doctor..pls consult your eyes in a good hospital or go to a english coaching classes it's clearly says sulfikar in my name and not sulficar.i come to hospital for good services and not for fake certificates I can't see through fake certificates without eyes as you do.i was completly dissatisfied with your service.Try to learn English or be polite to patients😂😂

Today I went to hospital around 12.00 and did my paperwork and waited for doctor call as there were one patient inside the doc room. While waiting I got an emergency call almost lasted less than a minute and doctor refused to see me saying that I was on my phone . He left to the parking and I went out to request him to see me but he refused arrogantly and left the hospital. My recommendation to the people is to avoid such situations and irresponsible doctors and save your time .

The only palce in kochi without any modes of online payment. No card machines, Google pay or phonepe, they only accept cash. I had to go all the way home just because I did not carry cash with me.

Good eye hospital with excellent eye doctors and spectacles available. Keyhole Cataract surgery is also there.
