Mulamoottil Eye Hospital & Research Center

I recently visited this hospital and was disappointed with the hospitality and hygiene. While the doctors may be skilled, the behavior of other staff members was rude, even to my elderly mother. My mother and I were surprised by the poor treatment we received. Even the optical shop section lady staff were particularly rude to us. The hospital staff were treating us like they were paying us to be treated there. What a pathetic experience.

The doctors might be good, but in terms of hygiene, there is significant room for improvement. I visited the place with my daughter and asked whether the instruments were wiped at least before or after each patient. The staff agreed, but during my observation while waiting, I noticed this was not the case. The staff used the instruments irresponsibly. At the very least, the chin and forehead portions should be cleaned to prevent the spread of infections and diseases.

Today I visited this hospital for my eye power examination. I was really amazed by the service provided by the staff… especially Ms. Anusha who explained every detail of the process. I was actually nervous first.. but her explanation and hospitality was really wonderful. I felt so happy for that. Thank you so much

A very good experience with mulamoottil eye hospital; they are provided all their facilities in our church medical camp. Also give medicines, eye drops, glasses etc at free of cost. The doctors are also friendly behaviour.

The best eye hospital in kozhencherry. Have ample parking space and about 4 consulting ophthalmologists are always available. The staffs are very friendly. Lower floor is entirely a section for eyeglasses, sunglasses and lenses. Covid-19 protocols are followed. The frames are a bit pricey in my opinion.

Writing this review based on my personal experience.My mother underwent her cataract operation this month at Mulamootil. Superb facilities,cordial staff and excellent doctors is all I can say about this hospital.No discrepancies whatsoever...everything is well explained..procedure as well as cost.Would highly recommend this hospital😀
