Mahatme Eye Bank & Eye Hospital

This hospital just want to loot money from patients. For no reason, they said my mother had Kanchbindu and asked us to take tests worth of 6000 rupees. After doing the test doctors says there was no need for it but now do operations for cataract urgently. Hospital don’t even give you report and try to hide the truth. They just inflict fear in patients and try to take advantage of the situation. Not recommended

Worst experience.. The staff is very rude, they don't have any manners to talk.. They keep patients waiting for 4 to 5 hours and sometimes they straight away tell us to leave even after waiting for hours..there was a girl who was sitting next to me she came from badlapur, they told her to wait for 4 hours and then the receptionist told her to leave without meeting the doctor..

The Mahatme eye hospital is not remain as it was before. As we have done 3 operations from my family as it was upto the mark in past. Keeping a blood pressure patient on hold and keep postponing dates as per their convenience after taking full payment in advance. This is the worst experience my family and other patients have faced.Staff is so arrogant as saying you have to mentally prepared for the operation and keep waiting for hours. Same thing they have done for 80 year old patients too. And no one bother to answer what is going on until we raise voice. Staff then informed you have to make special request for patients to take first. disappointed 😞

Such a rude receptionist ever had experienced.Doesn't have manner to talk with patients.People go for the eye checkup but they don't even care.Simply useless receptionist.Just because of This clinic is oldest one in Mulund but I guess they are now got enough popularity and open for money only and not for the patients.Highly suggest to not to visit If you are in pain.They asked you to leave your work and visit there clinic instead of adjustments for patients.

Actually i want to give no rating to this Mahatme Hospital. My Father went for his eye checkup since he had blurry vision. The doctor kept him wating for 6 hours outside. later said my dad might be having cataract. again the doctor sent him next day to other specialist and the doctor said its Diabetic retinopathy which was also not confirmed. The doctor started scolding on patient (My dad) and started afraiding the patient (My dad) that the he will loose his eyes without treating he made this statement. It was terrible. My dad is been in depression now. The fearness he is carrying with him every day for his eyes.

Dr Mahatmes eye care health and happiness hospital is nowhere near its name as i only got a series of lies and false promises from the day i took my 70 yr old father to get a cataract surgery done. When i first callled the clinic asking for vikas mahatme, they asked to come immediately When i reached they startdd the usual eye examination and later said dr mahatame has not been visiting latetly due to covid. Then they told about the cataract and said they will infom me about operation in 3 days. They dint keep up, eventually on my comtinous followsups they gave me a operation date after two weeks 3 days before the operation they asked me to be ready for the eye scanning as a readiness procedure and i have to reach within 30 mins of their next call Again they never called and after my followp said their technician dint arrrive and it can also be done on day of operation Next day, 2 days before operation, they said they had to cancell the operation as 4 out of 6 scheduled patients cancelled last moment and dr mahatme wont come for just 2 patients. And they said they cant say when it can happen again Finally i asked if there is any other doctor who could do the surgery and they said their other doctors can do it on same day as planned and will call me back by evening to confirm the time. Again they dint call. My poor dad ,a 70 yr old man, kept putting the prescribed drops in hope they will call atleast one day prior to operation, but they dint Finally i get a call from mahatme clinic in the morning asking me about time of operation. I was quite agitated by then an i asked if they called and confirm the timing to which the person sounded very sorry and said he wil immediately call in 15 mins, and again as anyone could guess they dint call. So this is the professionalism of an hospital whose main doctor is a padmashree awardee and a respected mp of one of the significant parties of india. I am not even sure if dr mahatme is aware of all this or he just doesnt care about his hospital and reputation anymore now that he is a politician. My dad is now deeply depressed due to all this and doesn't want to do the surgery anymore as he has lost confidence

The worst place to go to check your eyes ! The management is so rude ! Even the doctors are pathetic! I had major eye infection , the guy who usually first checks the eye number did not check it properly and even the doctor told me that show a physician it might be because of migraine but when I went to another doctor I had major eye infection due to heat and dust ! So don’t waste money going here ! It’s not the same ! The main doctor never visits just it’s running on its name and turning worst day by day ! The doctors here are trainees so they hardly have any knowledge about anything major !

It is very bad experience in this hospital. Lots of waiting period. Lazy doctors and staff also lazy. Lots of patients in outside and doctor & staff gossiping in cabin. Doctors asking useless questions to patients. Not treat properly. You can go there on your own risk.
