Dr Sharang Wartikar is a young, passionate & skilled medical professional in diagnosing & treating diseases pertaining to eye’s Retina. I consulted him for my mother’s Non-proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR) for about four-and-half years since 2018. My mother had very good experience in treatment of her eye retina’s swelled blood vessels & restoring its vision under his consultation. To be honest, treatment of administration of Injection for Retina swelling for some patients is life long process due to existing medical conditions like Diabetes, BP, etc. 👉 Professionalism, Understanding Of Patient’s Psychology & Ethics: He doesn’t push any pharma companies expensive medicines/injections and will provide pros and cons to you about respective injections before proceeding ahead with the treatment. Very rare to find Ethical & Compassionate medical professional like Dr Sharang in #Bharat wherein majority of them are Money-minded, involved into ‘Cut-Practice’ policy & work hand-in-glove with Medical Representatives (MRs) from leading pharma companies to push their medicines/injections in order to finance their foreign tours/conferences. I reached Dr Sharang Wartikar with a retinal detachment in 2015. It was an emergency, my right eye was blacking out. I didn't know anything about the doctor except he was with a reputed clinic, Bhaskar Eye Care. But somehow right from the start I felt SAFE. My surgery was good. My recovery was better than normal. And strangely enough, my right eye vision seems to be improving lately. From this I can only say that Dr Wartikar is a surgeon with really great skills. He's very low key, very courteous, extremely supportive, easily reachable to clear doubts and anxiety, and helps you stay confident. I wish we had more doctors like him.

Dr. Sharang Wartikar is an exceptional, very humble and down to earth retinal surgeon. He is an excellent surgeon and a good human being. My mother had retinal detachment, she was very nervous and worried but Dr. Wartikar’s warm and courteous attitude made her comfortable, he knows how to treat old people not only technically also emotionally which makes a big difference.He and his team at Bhaskar Eyecare are highly professional.We need more medical experts like Dr. Wartikar and his team who can treat and care our parents like their own. My mom has been visiting Dr Sarang for over 15 years now. Dr Sarang has been treating her for Diabetic Retinopathy. Alongside, Dr Sarang is the one whom we consult for any eye related issues for mom. Our experience thus far has been extremely good. Dr Sarang and his staff knows very well about mom's other conditions that does not allow her to keep sitting/waiting for longer period and hence she gets the preference as soon as we reach the clinic. Dr Sarang's diagnosis and treatment is absolutely accurate. Dr Sarang is absolutely calm and composed while he deals with patients and it gives immense confidence to the patients. We are genuinely thankful to Dr Sarang for all his support!

On the 19th May '22 I underwent a left eye Vitrectomy surgery performed by Dr. Sharang Wartikar (Retinal Surgeon) due to a Macular hole in my Retina. The initial diagnosis unnerved me but I was soon put at ease by the procedure explained to me & the confidence I experienced in the young Surgeon. He even passed his mobile number to me, (without asking) just in case I had any queries about the surgery once I reached home. A gr8 gesture thst made me trust him. There was also no hurry or urgency about the cash to be paid. I was passed the bill only after the surgery. Rare for a Doctor or Clinic to do in this day & age. A salute to this! 🙋‍♀️ The surgery, prognosis & after care have bern gr8. I have made an excellent recovery. Would 100% recomend Bhaskar Clinic at Thane & Dr. Sharang Wartikar for any Retinal problem.
