Aravind Eye Hospital - Chennai

Visited here for the 1st time. Such a huge hospital for eye. The place is clean. The arrangements are good. Staffs are many and responsive. Patients get proper guidance. A normal eye checkup moves very smooth. A pocket friendly and affordable hospital with a descent service.

Very very very worst hospital in handling the patients. I came at 8.30 and they made us roam here and there until 6 o clock. No enough staffing to control the crowd. Felt govt GH hospitals were better.. for every counter you have to wait one hour and sometimes you don't even have a seat to sit. Very poor staffing. Insurance dept will test Ur patience like anything. Frustration to the core. Will Never visit this hospital in future.

I and my sister had an amazing experience in this hospital where I had taken my elder sister for eye checkup. Doctors found out she had cataract in the left eye after a thorough examination. We also took second opinion from Agarwal's but the experience was so bad there, the behaviour of everyone including the doctor was so commercial with no kindness shown. Sorry to say the doctor was not interested to explain the problem and was more interested to see the next patient. The quote given to us was four times the cost of Aravind hospital. My sister had an excellent experience in Aravind hospital. Everything was so systematic and the procedure was followed to the T which was completed in 15 minutes and my sister was sent home in 30 minutes. They did all the health checkup before proceeding with the cataract surgery, all at a nominal cost. This is a huge hospital with two cafeteria and eyewear shop. The pricing was also very nominal so we got the best rate and the best experience in Aravind Eye Hospital, Chennai. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone who is looking for genuine doctors interested only in treating the patients and not to mint money. Sharing the pictures and a video of my sister to prove this is a genuine experience.

Visited here for the first time and it was a pleasant experience. I’ve given only 4 star for now as they need to improve the Insurance department speed. 5 people are present inside for processing but Only two people are being let inside at a time and it took around 1.25 hours for 8 people to move before me and then to get to my turn.

*I did my Trans Prk lasik here*. I got 6/6 vision. Doctors are experienced and knowledgeable. The staffs were always available and answerable to all the patients. 3-5 minutes for both eyes. Fain less procedure. Now its been 1 months of lasik. * I am happy about my vision. Looking the world through my Normal EYES*. All types of lasik available here. Scan fees are nominal. Canteen facilities are available inside and outside of hospital. Clean and we'll maintaining hospital. Parking facilities was good. Ac and Non-Ac wards are available... Waiting time was high... better visit 7 AM or after 2 PM.....

Excellent service. Have to pay only Rs. 100/- and is valid for 3 months for 3 times visitation. The registration was hassle free. The consultation took 2 hrs. The doctors were very kind. The cataract surgery is very effective. Definitely a go. The specs are also reasonably priced. They have ample parking lots with two floors of basement.

Very good care is provided in both paid and free sections. My mother had her cataract surgery done and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Pure service oriented hospital. All the staffs are polite and kind. Thank you for all your service..
