Myself, Dr jayaprakash aged 77 yrs with 50 yrs of experience in medical field visited Deepam eye hospital in February 25 and satisfied with the service and facilities and got cataract surgery for my wife aged 74 yrs. *I feel very happy and comfortable during all the process. *Chief opthalmologist Dr Vimala is very friendly and explaining present eye condition and later precautions after surgery was impressive. I had a talk with the manager Mr Nagesh and he explained the available services and how they are planning to improve more so that they can give better services in future *Supporting staff.. mainly receptionists Mrs Shobha and Narmada are very active in helping patients in guiding all the way for the process till the end. *Other important person to appreciate Mrs Madhvi, operation theatre assistant is another person to appreciate with her smiley approach and services. *Marketing supervisor Mr Vijay Kumar is another person to be appreciated for his dedication at work. Even the ambulance driver is very polite at work. * In a nutshell in the era of fully comercial atmosphere I found Deepam eye hospital is at reasonable prices with great services. *The main purpose of selecting this hospital for my wife's cataract surgery is..I am sure the surgery is performed by the doctor I choose with more competent and with proven track record where in big corporate institutional hospitals I am not sure about the doctor who performs surgery as there will be assistant doctors who will be given opportunity to develop their skills. I don't say this is not good.In Doctor point of view it is desirable but if you think in patient side it is different as they expect best service

My mother underwent cataract surgery in deepam eye hospital urapakkam. We are so happy about her vision now she can able to see things clearly. We came to deepam eye hospital for eye checkup doctor examined and said my wife fathima is having cataract at 1st we was very worried about the procedure and surgery later Dr. Vimala mam was too sweet and her friendly nature was really fabulous she explained about surgery and it's need we was really amazed by the way she cared and done cataract surgery. Last month, we did cataract surgery for my mother at Deepam Eye Hospital, Urapakkam. My personal experience at the hospital was very good. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were well-trained and friendly in their approach. However, the charges for scanning and check-ups were a bit on the higher side. Overall, a satisfying experience with quality care.
