It provides eye care facilities. It is government run. The hospital is walkable from Egmore Railway station. The hospital offer affordable price and good quality of service. But as it is govt. hospital, there are many people. One must brace up for queue and reached the place early. It is clean for public hospital but not to the standard,as you know....

All staffs and Dr are responding well.even in private hospitals will not get this type of service.secruity ward lady nurse's and Doctors are good .they are not wasting even single minute.working hard and providing good service.only thing for attenders they need to provide lot of chair and no fan few not working Only thing Need more Doctors to attend the patients.we went around 8am for check up they asked to take scan when we went to take they said it's closed for the day ask to come tomorrow.they need to plan accordingly customer flow .per day only this count like that so patient can see all the facilities in same day rather asking to come next day. Overall good experience and good place

I have addmited my father for eye operation, we had a wonderful treatment and support from all the doctor's. Especially Dr Priya. Best place is old building which is giving relax and rejuvenation for patients. Improvement maintenance required. I strongly recommend this hospital. Thank you

My mom admitted in hospital doctors and nurses very friendly but food is worst daily same menu morning idly lunch sambar curd keerai night rava kichidi same menu daily again and again so pls change the menu old pattis are pavam rava kichidi food very dangerous in old Patti

Worst doctors they are treating patient like street dog. They are hardly treating the patient keep on visiting for hospital multiple time but the result is zero.I suggest for private hospitals

My mom eye operation done here. It was so critical. Many of the leading private hospitals refused to do so.But Dr.Saravanan and Dr.Nemum gave a good treatment.All duty doctors,staff nurses, Housekeeping are too friendly. Environment and hospital cleaning maintenance was so good. I strongly suggests Egmore govt eye hospital

I had cataract eyes ,all most i lost my vision..21june left eye operated 02 August right eye operated.. now my vision is very clear .. doctors have done the excellent work thanks to the entire team including nurses cleaning staff for giving outstanding care and attention... Only the thing is wash room, bath room,taps cleaning and maintenance has to improve and drinking water machines has to provide and maintenance has to monitor....
