Aravind Eye Hospital - Dindigul

Visited this hospital due to a swollen eye.The Doctor prescribed an ointment to use for 15 days and asked me to re visit after that. She didn't tell me what was the cause at all. My eye was still swollen so visited the Hospital again. During my second visit There was a different doctor. She literally acted like she hated working there. No communication at all and she told me to continue the ointment and didn't tell me to revisit or anything or what to do if my condition didn't improve. I literally asked should i revisit if it's still swollen. She didn't even reply to me. It's been two weeks and my eye is still swollen. If you don't like to be a doctor or want to communicate properly with a patient you should consider a different profession this work of line is not for you. Don't visit this place unless you want to feel like getting treatment from a Brick wall and not a Doctor.

The worst behavior from Receptionist. They don't ask anything to patients what help they are in need, even if they are standing in front of reception. They are not talking politely with patients. No help from them for patients in need. Worst hospitalization. They don't even response to calls.

Recently my mother in law , Radha , has got treated for glaucoma in both of her eyes. The treatment was quite good as the opthalmologist, despite his young age, did an excellent job as he handled the patient as well as done the lazer procedure well. Moreover the staffs were nice and well behaved. Above all, the fee they offered was quite cheaper to any one's standard.

Here the receptionist and doctors were very kind. They don't pressure the patient for any medical purpose. Eye testing has gone smoothly and clearly they have checked multiple times. 100 INR for registration is reasonable. But, the only thing is for specatals the charging amount is high. Restrooms maintenance is not good.
