Aravind Eye Hospital - Kovilpatti

Very worst in Time management, for doing cataract atleast min 5 days need to visit and every day, almost whole day need to wait... Literally Patient will loose patience and because of waiting time patients BP will suit and also always wrong commitment from the nurses about timing... As per their schedule even if we come after 2pm, we may have to wait till evening 6.30 not only that, in the same day everything will not happen again next day need to visit. Except Time management, rest all is very good in terms of Hospitality, cleanliness, environment and doctors consulting, so and so...

Great service and very polite staff. Organized and on time , taking care of patients very well. Especially the doctor we met Dr. Harini Krishna , she is very friendly, listening. Took my grandmother there, she treated very well and clarified our questions well. Also I got few clarifications for my father and myself, she was not waiting for our registration rather clarified our questions and gave suggestions. Not money minded at all, good service and satisfied overall.

First time visit. Pretty clean environment; very impressive. Staffs are very interactive; loud, clear and sweet. Highly process oriented; their IT system is excellent. Out Patient list; waiting time list & other info are clearly tracked by their IT system (called Eye Notes and stuff.) The clinic is flooded with patients; makes it harder for them to follow the COVID rules. This is understandable. You might need 15 seconds to consult a doctor. But you should wait between 90 minutes to 120 minutes (even longer) ; especially if they run the show with one doctor. Nurse never relax and they don't show any tiring in the face. Kudos to them. Reserve a day for the visit. The drops they put-in in your eyes ; won't make an easy return to home (if driving/riding). Please visit with a supporting hand. Overall ; you need to have good Patience to be Patient in this hospital. **Affordable consulting fees (100/- of July-5-2021) .

The building and campus are very big. It took around 2.5 hours to complete my eye checkup. Staff are ok ok in treating patients. Compared to madurai Aravind Eye Hospital eye check-up procedure, kovilpatti is not up to the mark. They just performed a few tests, and they suggested a spectacle. If you are looking for high-class treatment, I would suggest Madurai Aravind Eye Hospital only. Campus is very clean and neat. It's located on the main road. Around 3.4 km from kovilpatti old busstand. Board bus from kovilpatti old busstand, need to travel towards rajapalayam route. They, too, accept all kind of payment . 👓 spectacle section Staffs are very polite and cooperative. They will deliver spectacle by courier (extra charge applicable). Canteen also available within the premises. They also do surgery on premises. I saw attractive and trendy growd. I visited afternoon sessions around 2.30Pm.

Very neat and clean. They did all the test With in 30 mins . But consulting doctor we have to wait nearly 3 hours because only one doctor available in this branch. Still they did implemented cashless surgery ( insurance , re imbursement ) insurance they are not accepting its very disappointing

Waiting hours like government hospital...worst service not good 😡🥵

Take lunch and snacks, have camping tent with bed, battery backup for mobile and extra power bank. Then start your travel for eye checkup. Very cheap tourist spot to spend a half day or more. Very long waiting hrs for simple eye checkup too. Whatever consultation, waiting hrs will be 2-3hrs. Then other procedures may take half a day more. 😂😂😂
