Initially when I got issue in my eye sight I went to a famous eye doctor in kumbakonam and I was told that i have a -2. 5 cylindrical power on both eyes with axis of 180 degrees both. Followed by I made a glass in one of the famous spectacles shops in kumbakonam with the given prescription and I didn't notice any big problem so I used that glass for about 1.5 years. Then I checked my eye sight again after that and i came to know that my power has increased to -3 on both eyes with 180 degree axis. Since I liked my spectacles frame i gave my used spectacles to the same spectacles shop to change only the glass. Here is where the problem starts, my vision wasn't clear and i asked the same to the shop staff and they told me to use it for a week since this is a new glass it would take some time for my eyes to get adapted. I went out of town and even after the said time my vision wasn't clear and i found out that there is some problem in the axis of the glass if I tilt my head on the right side it was super clear. I struggled a lot with that glass for a while. When I came back to kumbakonam I went to an another famous doctor in kumbakonam and explained my problem and they gave a prescription and insisted me to make a glass in their spectacles shop, I did as I was told. Again the same problem with the axis if I tilt my head I got a clear vision. I was so frustrated. After struggling with that glass for long time. Finally one of my family members suggested me T. K veerasamy naidu clinic and i explained doctor Mr. Aaramuthan about my issue. He checked my spectacles and vision many times and found out three important facts:- Fact number 1) Actually my axis is not 180 degree on both eyes. It's 175 on the left eye and 180 on the right eye. Fact number 2) I get a clear vision only on that particular axis. If my axis is changed even by just one degree i am not getting a clear vision. Fact number 3) Even though the prescription is correct it's very crucial for the technician to fix it accurately on that particular axis and there is a practical difficulty in doing it that accurate. So far I have made 5 glasses in T. K veerasamy naidu shop. In terms of fixing the glass on the frame at that particular axis (i.e Accuracy) I would give 10 out of 10 for 2 glasses 8.5 out of 10 for my recent glass 8 out of 10 for one glass and 6 out of 10 for one glass. I understand the fact that there is a practical difficulties while fixing the glass accurately in that particular axis but as a customer / patient since vision is the concern I'm expecting it shall be fixed perfectly all the time for all the glasses. In terms of frame quality, service, speed of delivery, patience of the doctor and staff obviously I would give 10 out of 10. I would like to emphasis this fact that Doctor Mr. Aaramuthan is very concerned about the satisfaction of the patient and understanding the problem of patient. Especially unlike most of the famous doctors in the town he is ready to listen the problem of the patient and explaining everything with patience. I strongly recommend this Clinic and spectacles shop. For me T. K veerasamy naidu clinic / spectacles shop is a life saver. I will be a customer of this clinic / shop for my whole life.
