"Hi, my mother had redness in her eye, so we went to the hospital at 5:40 PM. the wait time is 2 hours, and the service was really bad. I usually visit Win Vision, Solis Eye Care, and Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital, and whenever there is an issue, my family prefers to visit those places because the process is easier and quicker. But this time, my family referred me to Rishab Eye Care. Regarding Dr. Raja Lingam, sir, first, you need to learn how to communicate with patients.The way you spoke was very rude an inappropriate. Very commercial and money minded hospital. They really don't care the patient problem. Both doctors Rajalingam and Rita are rude and arrogant in their response. They lack patience to respond to customer doubts. When we went for second opinion in Solis Eye care and another NGO hospital we learnt about the eye injection scams done by some eye hospitals and including here. So far where I have enquired about it in our relatives all said its waste of money and there is no success for eye injection medicines to recover/correct your vision. There are some genuine hospitals like Solis who gave proper second opinion.

***Alert*** Worst hospital to risk your eyes. You will waste your money on ur eye testing with them. Buy glasses as per their prescription, at the end you will not be satisfied with vision. Dr. Rita Rajalingam is the most arrogant one there of all. They always give wrong eye prescriptions and never ready to take responsibility. You always have to go for a second opinion at a different hospital after visiting Rishab Eye Center. I or my family will not go to them again. 3 members in our family wasted their money 4000-5000 each person, buying 2000 Rs glasses with their prescription and rebuying 2000 Rs eye glasses again after second opinion elsewhere. Did not have a satisfying experience at Rishab.

On May 20th, I developed redness and itching in my left eye and visited Rishabh Eye Care. Despite mixed reviews about Dr. Rajalingam, I saw Dr. Shashikala, who diagnosed viral conjunctivitis and prescribed antibiotic and eye refresh drops. I questioned the antibiotics for a viral infection, but she explained it was to prevent secondary infection. My condition worsened within 48 hours, so I returned on May 23rd. Dr. Shashikala prescribed Lotepred, a steroid eye drop, and later oral antibiotics, but there was no improvement. On June 1st, she noted a pseudomembrane on my eye, prescribed Loteprednol ointment, and advised a second opinion from Dr. Rajalingam, who recommended increasing the steroid dosage. The infection reduced over the next two weeks, but my vision became blurry. Dr. Rajalingam assured me it would subside but couldn't specify how long. Forty days later, my vision is still slightly blurred but improving. Feedback to Doctors at Rishabh Eye Care hospital: *************************************************** @Dr.Shashikala – You have a very friendly and patient approach with your patients, and you listen attentively. However, I feel there is a lack of experience in prescribing the most effective medication. It took three review visits over two weeks to receive the effective treatment for my viral eye infection, which was Loteprednol ointment. Even then, you suggested a second opinion with Dr. Rajalingam. Please work on providing the most effective medication for efficient recovery. @Dr. Rajalingam – I understand that you have significant experience and expertise as an ophthalmologist. However, please work on being more approachable and polite, especially as a doctor. While your knowledge and treatment might be excellent, the manner in which you administer care is equally important. Kindly learn to speak to patients with empathy and politeness. Overall feedback for the hospital hygiene – I love pets and have one at home, but I was surprised to see that, while we are asked to remove our shoes outside the hospital entrance, a stray dog is allowed to roam freely inside the premises. I even saw the dog sitting in Dr. Rajalingam's personal cabin on the first floor. This is a glaring double standard in the name of hygiene, especially for an eye care hospital. Bizarre! On last tip : Please request eye drops that are readily available. Some drops can be hard to find at general pharmacies, so if necessary, obtain them directly from the hospital.

I had a bad experience with hospital . We enquired the visiting hour for a specific doctor and we were well within the time given to us. They made us wait for an hour and the doctor left the hospital without seeing us . Surprisingly it was not a rush day either and doctor was away from the consultation room for some time and when came back they attended all other patients for the doctor except us . I’m felt something fishy and collected back the fee paid and walked out. I will never visit them come what may.

Rishab eye care centre is very good hospital The staff and doctors are very well caretakers and they treat all the patients with gentleness and kindness I would really suggest people with eye problems to surely visit rishab eye care hospital, as their infrastructure and their beds are very well maintained and cleaned’ They have the best equipments and especially doctor Rajalingam gaaru has treated my grandmothers eye and she is very happy ! The receptionist “Aruna” on the 1st floor is highly unprofessional was bad mouthing thinking we don’t speak the language, my mother has been going there since 2020 and Dr. V. Rajalingam has been an absolute delight. Kindly look into what kind of people you are hiring for your practice.
