InFocus Eyecare Rogersville

I normally don't write reviews like this, but people need to hear this. Last year, I paid $500 for a single pair of glasses for my daughter -- and that was with vision insurance. I had never purchased glasses before, so I assumed that was just the normal cost. I trusted them. Fast forward one year: my other daughter needed glasses, so we tried a different provider in Huntsville. The total? $100 for TWO pairs of glasses AND the eye exam. That's when I realized how badly I had been overcharged. This business absolutely gouges customers. My own contact lens exams and fittings have always been outrageously priced here. I was charged around $90 just for a contact fitting, after insurance had already covered part of the exam. At the new provider, that same contact fitting costs $30 -- and my contacts are essentially covered by insurance. There is no reasonable explanation for that kind of price difference other than excessive markups. I feel embarrassed that I didn't question it sooner. If you value your money, take my advice: drive a little farther and go somewhere else. You could save yourself hundreds of dollars. I truly hope this review helps someone avoid making the same costly mistake I did.

I can't brag on this staff enough! The receptionist is always smiling happy and helpful. Sandra is excellent at checkout and ensuring I get the right fit of glasses I want! This Dr has patience with the kiddos! Thankful for a pleasant experience for their first eye visit and happy they don't have to have glasses for now !

We recently had our first visit at InFocus Eye Care. We were very happy with our exams and choices in eye wear. The staff was friendly and listened to our concerns, and answered questions our previous doctor waved away as nothing. They even found issues with my oldest son's eyes that our old doctor didn't. We are very happy with our switch.

From the very first step in the door I was greeted with a smile. Young lady who first checked my eyes was very knowledgeable and professional . Dr Smith the optometrist was through and precise , I felt confident and assured with the classes the last young lady helped me pick out. I highly recommend this business and their Employees

I am so grateful that I found this place. The staff is so compassionate and caring and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Mowrer was wonderful and was concerned for my overall health along with my vision problems. Hannah and Brandi are absolute angels. I will continue to see them for all of my vision needs. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

I have never been treated so well from the front desk to the doctor. The doctor took lots of time with me. I never felt rushed. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would gladly recommend.

I was mowing my grass and some trash blew in my eye. I called and they told me to come then. The girl said she knew how it hurts. I went and they were so nice. The dr thoroughly examined my eye and found a scratch on my cornea. Gave me a prescription for antibiotic/steriod drops. I was told to return in a week for a recheck but if I needed them before that to call. I am thankful we have them in our town!

Always fun, great group of people. Dr. Smith and the entire staff here are amazing. Feels like a family reunion when I go in. Brandy immediately greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome immediately giving you a wonderful experience. Dr. Smith takes his time, answers questions and has a wonderful personality. Sandra wouldn't let me leave until I was 100% satisfied with the frames I picked even if it meant bringing me every single pair available to try on. Wonderful people and always a wonderful experience.
