This was a great experience first I came in an hour ahead of my appointment and was seen right away. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to to work with including the Doctor. Then the help I received in selecting my glasses was excellent went out of her way to help me.

Unfortunately attempting to get my glasses has been nothing short of a disaster. Two weeks ago I showed up (early) for a glass cutting appointment to be told the machine cutting the lenses broke that morning. I received no call or notification until I showed up. A week later I go to get my lenses swapped out of my regular and sunglasses frames.... and I understand that a risk taken when filling old frames is the frames may break. Of course they break so I have no choice but to choose some of the shelf since I can't see without them. Thankfully my sunglasses were cut, however, it took me a day after being extremely nauseous and unable to focus to realize the gaps in the sunglasses between the frame and lense and two VERY different sunglass shades. There is VERY clearly two very different shades causing me to be unable to focus. Unfortunately they're not open on Fridays to resolve this issue so now I have mediocre glasses and unusable sunglasses.

For three years I struggled adjusting to progressive lenses. My husband recommended I see Dr VanHouten to see if he could help. I went in explained the problems, he listened and suggested a better version of progressive lenses. It was an incredible difference.

The staff are professional and caring about their patients. The eyewear technician was patient and helpful when I was looking for frames and answered all my questions. A caring and professional staff is @Desert eyewear.

Dr. Ferrin has always been there for me. When needed he'll refer you to a Specialist, then when released from Specialist you can return to Dr. Ferrin. I TRUST HIM EXPLICITLY

I really liked Dr. VanHouten and his staff. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and Dr. VanHouten explained everything thoroughly. Also, they carry a wide variety of glasses frames! No complaints whatsoever, thanks.
