I accidentally showed up a day early for my appointment. After a nice round of mutual laughter, I was accepted for my exam anyway.
From beginning to end, everyone was professional, informative and courteous. Dr. Schwartz has been guiding me through my vision concerns and has the best attitude!
We moved here from Houston in late 2025, so we needed a new eye doctor. Both my husband and I have had an excellent experience at Eureka Springs Eyecare Clinic. We both had an exam, my husband got a new pair of glasses, and I got new lenses for a favorite pair of glasses. The staff and the doctor are delightful and very thorough. We have had several visits to the clinic, so I am confident about my recommendation to use Eureka Springs Eyecare Clinic.
UPDATE: I never received a call. Went to a new provider today and walked out of my first appointment with my contact prescription in hand.
Extremely frustrating experience due to inconsistent communication, shifting requirements, and unresolved billing.
I understand and respect clinical procedures, including the use of contact lens trials, and I complied fully, including going through two different trial lenses. At my first appointment, I was hesitant to accept a contact lens I had never worn before, and the provider insisted on inserting the lenses for me, which I personally was uncomfortable with.
I returned for a follow-up visit, clearly communicated my concerns, and the provider then agreed to order trials for the contact lenses I have successfully worn for over 10 years. I picked those up and initially scheduled a follow-up appointment. Due to a conflict, I canceled that appointment and explicitly shared by phone that I was doing well with the lenses and would like to pick up my prescription. I was told that was fine.
About a week later, I went in to get my prescription and was told someone would call me. No one did. I later returned in person and was told that a bill on my account would be removed. I offered multiple times to pay in person but was told it was not necessary.
A week later, after again being promised a phone call that never came, I instead received a bill in the mail. I called to pay the bill and again requested my prescription. During that call, I was told the prescription would be mailed to me, which also did not happen.
This experience wasn't about refusing to follow procedure. It was about inconsistent information, broken promises, unresolved billing, and a complete lack of follow-through across multiple visits and phone calls. Patients deserve clear expectations, accurate communication, and respect for their time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
I was a day early at 8am and they worked me in that right then . I was surprised, every body was nice and professional clean ever thing was clean and Bright doc. was a quick pleasant clear to talk and understand and larg verity of lines to choose from I was happy I went to them felt taken care of when I left. I'll be back
Visiting Eureka Springs and needed an emergency visit to the eye clinic. They were great! Fit me into their schedule without any delay. Doctor treated me and my eye is doing much better! Highly recommend this eye clinic.
This is the first time I've been here and wouldn't want to go to any other Eye Clinic. They are all very caring and considerate. Dr Schwartz is very professional and is excellent at eye care. Great bedside manner also. Thank you all for your help, care and concern.

I purposely made an 8 am appt in order to not be late to work but was not taken back first as promised (despite being there and having my paperwork done first) when the appt was made. The dr was very grumpy and seemed frustrated and the office smelled like cigarettes. The staff should practice good oral hygiene and professional appearance when they are dealing closely with patients as well.
