I'm disappointed to be sharing this, as I've been a loyal patient for 15 years and have always had positive experiences with the staff. However, my recent visit left me feeling frustrated and disrespected.
A week ago, I noticed my long-distance vision had suddenly worsened, which led to googling and had a lot of doomsday scenarios. Although I had just had my annual eye exam a few weeks earlier, I decided to schedule another appointment. Before the visit, I tried a pair of Zenni glasses with the same prescription as my regular pair, and they seemed to work better than my normal, more expensive glasses. My regular pair was purchased from this office, but I wondered if something might be wrong with them, since the Zenni pair, though inexpensive, seemed to perform better.
When I tried to explain this to Dr. Webb, she quickly became defensive and dismissive. She assumed that my Zenni glasses had a newer prescription and that my regular pair had an older one, even though they were both the exact same prescription. I tried to clarify, but her responses became increasingly rude. Some of the comments she made were: "Hurry up, we don't have all day," "See, the fuzzy ones are your precious Zenni glasses and the clear ones are mine" and "You don't seem to know what's going on here, you should just leave." Usually, I can read a room but this was so unexpected, came out of leftfield. Her tone was unprofessional and belittling.
I apologized, even though I hadn't intended to offend her, and she responded by accusing me of saying that her equipment was "crap," which I never did. At that point, she left and I sat pretty confused how it escalated to this. As I stood up to leave, I overheard Dr. Webb speaking disparagingly about me to the techs, which was the last straw where I stormed off. Its really hard to get me upset with people or businessed as a pretty understanding guy, but it was so wild how non-stop rude she was, truly crazy.
It's especially upsetting because, over the years, I've had nothing but positive interactions with the rest of the staff, including the receptionist, who has always been kind and welcoming. I've been patient even in situations where things didn't go perfectly (like waiting months for sunglasses that were supposed to arrive in weeks), but I've never complained. This experience, however, was beyond disappointing.
I'm sad that it's come to this, but it looks like I'll need to find a new eye doctor. I truly hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I've always been a loyal and appreciative customer of the office.
I have been wearing glasses since I was 10, and have been to several different eye doctors, and this clinic has been the worst by far. It took me 4 months to receive a pair of glasses that cost me $500. I had to constantly hound them and ask about where my glasses were and always got the run around. However, the ladies at the front desk are amazing and so helpful so they are not included in the 1-star.
Been dealing with Webb for nearly 6 months now over a pair of $500 sunglasses that still have not been received. They cannot find my order, will not return my calls or emails, and now tell me I need to pay a fee for cancelling my order. ......an order that they cannot even find. BEWARE of this place .....I now have to go to small claims court to get my money back.
I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I've been coming here for years because they accept my insurance, but my last two visits have been awful. The doctor has consistently shown poor professionalism and terrible time management. Most of the office staff is kind, but the overall experience simply isn't worth the frustration. I would rather pay out of pocket for a clinic that actually values its patients.
I have been using Dr. Webb's office for years and will not be going anyplace else. There have been a few times where we have had to wait a little longer than usual, but you can tell her staff is doing as best as they can to get patients taken care of in a timely manner. The staff is also very friendly, as well as Dr. Webb herself!

Worst experience ever, I give them negative stars, stay away. Do not go to this place to get your eyes. Looked at I've been waiting for almost a month for results that should have been 2 weeks that they told me would be 2 weeks the lady at the front desk is the worst ever rude. They should fire her today, I will be calling my insurance to file a negative result on them so they can get their money back for For the way they treat their patients And I will be going somewhere else.You'll, I'm sitting out here with my right eye Almost blind and they're dragging their feet
I want to say that this review has literally nothing to do with Dr. Webb herself. She was amazing. Her front staff and whoever answers the phone, I'm assuming also front desk staff, is the reason for a 1 star review. We went to have our appointment with her the beginning of June. We ordered contacts after trialing 2 different brands. We called to order our contacts and just to receive the quote alone was nearly a 1 hour phone call, mostly sitting on hold and then re-explaining what we want based on what insurance would cover. We paid the total in full on that call.
A month goes by and we still don't have contacts. So I call up there and she's like oh yeah it's on back order, come up here and we will give you a complimentary pair to hold you over. I go up there and she then says "I just want to let you know you owe an additional $90 for your contacts". I say how could this be after I just sat on the phone parsing though the two different brands and what the cost would be. She said, literally, that maybe the insurance for me is covering a different amount than what my husband was getting covered. I say well please explain that to me because that is not what I was told on the phone, what did the money I already paid go to, and I am on my husbands insurance so we have the exact same policy. She just says "i don't know" very rude, no information. So we wait another month for our orders to come in and now we are in Aug. my husband calls up there and they completely gaslit us by saying our orders were ready the first week of July. That is a lie. I came to the office to get the "free pair" the first week of July and she said it would be several more weeks and they would tell us when it came. No call. No text. THEN she has the gall to tell my husband that the extra $90 is an extra CONTACT FEE. This poor doctor has the worst staff and honestly after I pick up our contacts tomorrow I'm not sure we will be back. And it is not because of Dr Webb. She was wonderful. But I can't go through this for a simple eye visit and wait TWO months for contacts that I already paid for and then they demand more money. That is not right. Especially in todays economy where everyone is struggling. I hope Dr. Webb sees this and addresses this issue with her staff.
