Dr. Wells and his staff are great. Everyone greeted me with a smile and positive attitude. As my visit progressed everything was explained to me and any questions I had were answered. Joann in the front dispensing area was also top notch. She tuned up my old frames, helped me find the perfect new frames to suit my taste and needs and explained my benefits and out of pocket costs.

Had my first appt here today to get my eyes checked for a new prescription. I have absolutely no complaints, I was greeted kindly when I walked in and the front desk receptionist is professional and kind. The assistant and the DR were both very friendly and polite and welcoming. Not judgmental whatsoever and very encouraging and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and assured I was taken care of. I recommend Optimetric Care Associates fully. P.S. I forgot to mention they also managed to get me in the next day for that appt as a new patient. They do go above and beyond.

I just had my annual exam on Wednesday. On Thursday, I suddenly had double vision and blurry vision while driving! After a call to the Los Osos office (during which they made an appointment for the next Tuesday), the lovely receptionist, Kylie, sent an email to Dan Hile about my situation. She called me later that day to say Dan wanted to see me immediately. I saw him the next morning, in the Atascadero office. Apparently, there were some fairly serious possibilities, so Dan jumped on it. He doesn't ignore his emails either! Fortunately, nothing serious was wrong. We're still not 100% of the cause but have a suspicion. You can tell the level of his caring and concern when I share that he gave me his personal phone number for me to use if I get any new symptoms over the weekend! Tell me: when have you experienced such caring from a doctor or staff member??!!
