Focus Vision Optometry

I went here 1 week ago for myself, the experience was great. It was fast and smooth so made an appointment for my daughter. Oh my god what a night and day experience. The optical tech Jackie R. The RUDEST person I've ever experienced. Before I scheduled this appointment I made sure that it was okay to come without the ins card. The office manager that made my daughters appointment after mines was over said "no it's fine, it's all online even the digital ID card" I explained this to Jackie, and she cut me off with AN EXTREMELY PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE TONE!! Proceeded to say "wel you need the ins card, to be seen" I told her to I dont have it and made that aware prior to making the appointment. Then I asked for the person to talk in regards to ugly attitude and she gave me the number clearly visible that I was not ready to take it down, responded again with a passive aggressive tone "let me know when you're ready" I got the number reported it to the man office in Beaumont to Daisy. It's people like this that literally should not be customer service/patient care. My 9 & 10 year old daughters were like "omg why was so rude with you" in the most of checking in I had to ask "are you okay, is something wrong ?" She then answered my question with the same question "are you okay?" I said I'm fine, I don't appreciate your tone and lack of respect or passive aggressive tone. Then once my daughter stepped out of the exam room and was picking her frames she decided to be nice. The bipolar attitude that came from this woman was INSANE. I don't recommend coming to this location IF Jackie is present in the front desk.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even when walk in customers crowded the front desk everything was handled quickly and professionally. I personally would go every day because the technician that put me through my paces....*sigh* Betty Boop will forever remind me of the vision (no pun intended) of absolute beautiful perfection.

Always have an amazing experience when I go to Focus Vision. They are always professional and take into consideration my concerns and expectations. They also help me to try new things. Can I say patient. They go over and beyond and are friendly. I recommend Focus Vision Calimesa.

Do not recommend. I immediately ran for a second opinion for my daughter and I'm so glad I did!!! They withhold information regarding what the insurance will and won't cover just so you come out of pocket! My daughter's glasses were completely covered by the insurance and she didn't need as complicated of a prescription as they said she did. The doctor is not in the office and techs run machines. It was the most half-assed eye exam I have ever seen. Just a cheaper way to make a bigger buck!!! Any physician who chooses to align themselves with this practice needs a lesson in ethics.

Do not recommend if other options are available. We got our prescription wrong TWICE, we are still waiting for our 3rd " newglasses pick up" 5 weeks from when they told us they made a mistake the 2nd time. They also made us go back for a check up and when we got there, they told us they don't accept our insurance. This should be checked and communicated ahead of time, not when we got there. Also, communication is quite poor, lacking proper guiding on the first appointment, we don't know what to expect and have to ask questions to know we still need to see the doctor after regular optometry check.

The ladies here at this location were very polite friendly and helpful with everything I needed . You guys did a great job. Shout out Mayra and Cynthia !!

I read all the negative reviews. It's so close to my house I decided to try them out. My eye exam went smoothly. The staff was great. Although I was promised two weeks, I got mine in 3. But perfectly understandable since new years was in the middle of the week. Overall, I highly recommend this business.

The front desk staff on July 9 were super helpful. They got me in early. My appointment was at 430 and I was done with my other appointment and I was local and they got me in at 3 pm. They got me in did the full examination. The Digital assistant is nice. Dr. V is on the screen and manages from her end the exam. Super cool technology I love this. I had the best experience . Thank you Focus Vision.
