Everyone at Lumen Optometric has been such an absolute pleasure to work with. After taking my eldest daughter there and seeing how much her Ortho-K treatment improved her vision, I knew right away I had to bring my other two boys as well. The results have truly been life changing for our family. Dr. To is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He takes the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answers all of our questions without rushing, and makes sure both I and my kids feel completely comfortable and confident in their care. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants the best outcomes for them. The office itself is always spotless, organized, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, the team greets you with warm smiles and kindness that instantly puts you at ease. The staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating when it comes to scheduling and follow ups. They are wonderful with children calm and encouraging which makes every visit a positive experience.

My husband and I first time here at Lumen. And I can say this is by far our favorite eye clinic/shop! We came across this eye clinic/shop from yelp reviews and a friend recommendation. When we first came in, we were in awe on how gorgeous the place is. Not the typical eye clinic/shop that we are used to. It's very clean, spacious and feels very cozy inside. We were greeted by their receptionists and was attended right away. The location is also great. Right off the freeway, plenty of parking spaces in the front and back of the clinic, close to Santa Anita mall and many good restaurants around it. I was able to walk around with my daughter and ate good ice cream while waiting for my husband after I was done. Everything feels brand new. The equipments that they have looks like they were new and well maintained. They sanitized the area before and after used. I feel so safe knowing everything is clean! They took me in first then my husband because one of us had to takecare of our daughter. Dr. Eric To was very sweet and professional. He was very gentle and compassionate. He took his time explaining everything about my eye problem. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole eye examination. No discomfort at all. At the end of the examination, my husband and I are both pleased with the great service they provided us and for sure will come back. We never waited longer than 5 min. Other eye clinic, they make you wait for at least 20 minutes which i hate. I'm so glad this clinic is different. They are very fast and efficient! I am so impressed! I will have my new eyeglasses and contact lens soon. Excited for those. Yay! Thank you all for a great customer service. Highly recommended.

These wonderful people took care of me & helped me get my glasses although I am not currently working & couldn't afford the whole bill. Dr. He is an amazing doctor. It took us a couple tries to get my scleral fitting perfect but she was always patient and willing to answer all my questions. All the front office staff were also always kind and willing to work around my tough schedule. Thank you again!

I've been going to Lumen Optometric for a while now, and every visit is a great experience. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. The doctors are fantastic easy to talk to and genuinely take the time to get to know you, which makes a huge difference. I always leave my appointments feeling happy and well taken care of. Not your typical/standard Optometry office. I've been getting my eye exam annually for the last decade and no one has been more thorough than Dr. To, it was really cool to see how my dry eye glands are and my corneal topography. Dr. To has fitted me with Ortho-k lenses (typically worn while sleeping) and it's been such a great experience. I have really dry eyes and my daily contacts gets irritated throughout the day, it sometimes pops out or folds when I rub my eye (allergies). But ever since getting Ortho-K it has made a big difference being able to see naturally without contacts during the day, my dry eyes and allergies doesn't affect me as much. Hats off to Dr. To and Rosie, they are both wonderful and very informative to answer any questions I had. I won't be needing to search for a new optometrist yearly now!

All the staff was really friendly and helpful. There were some difficulties with my insurance and ordering my contacts but the staff was really helpful and able to address it. My doctor, Dr. He, was wonderful! I have never had an eye doctor explain so much to me. She was very thorough, patient, and gave me so much time. She was concerned I may have a condition with my eyes and she took a lot of time to fully explain the condition and next steps. She provided excellent care.

I adore Lumen. My partner lives in Sierra Madre and I came upon them on a walk and made an appointment. I am so glad that I did. Everyone was so helpful and made sure that the glasses I were fitting and measured correctly. The optometrist was lovely, (I am sorry I am blanking on the name), and I love the staff. I live on the Westside of LA and took the 1.5 hour drive to make my appointment. It's wildly worth it. Great selection of frames and they take my VSP insurance. Love them.
