Went to this guy, had double vision at distances. First time I bought glasses from him, they did NO good. Tried a second time spending $400.00 just for glasses. They were also useless. Finally switched to Dr. Fagan and his glasses worked perfectly! Do not waste your time with Boyd. Fagan is nearby.

Everyone was very nice I didn't have to wait a super long time, Dr was good. I don't know why I was nervous but he put me at ease. The girl who helped me picked my glasses was Awesome!! I would recommend Tehachapi Optometric Center and my husband will be going for his next eye exam.

I was a new patient here today and the staff was super friendly and efficient. They had my contacts in stock so I was able to leave with a contact lens and glasses RX AND a years worth of contacts. I will definitely be taking my husband and children here from now on. Definitely beats driving an hour to Kaiser for my eye exams! I'm super pleased with my visit today.

I really appreciate how well orchestrated the entire process was. From receiving the reminder of my appointment, little to no waiting when I showed up for my appointment, the thorough exam, and the helpful staff fitting me for my glasses. My glasses came in a week early and again the staff excelled, received a text, came by tried on my glasses and left, again a quick and painless process. Thank you!

My mom's vision got blurry, so decided to go see Dr boyd. Upon arrival front desk girl took us to a waiting room and the same person did some examination before arrival of doctor after 10 min doctor entered the room,no greetings no introduction and no eye contact then he close the door with a bang and takes his seat and start reading some notes by his staff and then start examing while doing so he was aggressive with my 70 + mom at once he holds up her face impolitely and says don't move your face just eyse how can you be unkind with someone who can't see properly. I told him that she don't speak english and I will translate to her what you say in the beginning but he didn't care and then he was rolling his chair from one table to another with an authoritarian attitude which was not needed. When he came second time after eye drops again same attitude WOW. A doctor supposed to be kind and humble like Dr Sandeep Walia in Bakersfield where we decided to go for second opinio. I would not recommend Dr boyd to anyone but I would like to thank Veronica who was very professional and helpful over the phone.

Dr. Young and his staff are always friendly. Knowledgeable and professional. They really care about their patients and go above and beyond in making sure their patients are comfortable and happy with their glasses.

The doctor is real friendly the staff is really friendly too they really care about you excellent eye exam

Nice staff, thorough exam, nice array of beautiful frames for glasses. You can stop by for adjustment to glasses...very accommodating...like them very much.
