Delta Eye Medical Group

My family and I have been patients at Delta Eye Medical Group for over four years, and unfortunately during that time I have seen a significant decline in the professionalism and quality of the front desk staff. What should be a simple and respectful interaction has become frustrating and, at times, completely unprofessional. On multiple occasions I have witnessed staff belittle or laugh at patients who are simply asking basic questions. Patients deserve to feel respected and heard when they call or come into a medical office, especially when it concerns their healthcare. There have also been repeated issues with scheduling. Staff members appear unable to properly read patient charts or accurately schedule appointments. My son and I have historically scheduled our appointments together, yet I was once told he did not need an appointment only to later be charged a $50 fee. Situations like this should not happen in a medical practice that is responsible for patient care and accurate records. In addition, patients are frequently placed on hold for extended periods without explanation. I have also encountered staff who misrepresented their roles, claiming to be a manager when they later stated they were only a lead. On two occasions, the front desk even hung up on me while I was simply trying to schedule an appointment for my son. Professionalism, communication, and accountability should be a priority in any healthcare setting. Instead of addressing these ongoing concerns and improving patient experience, it seems easier for Dr. Tsuchiya to dismiss patients altogether. After years of being a patient here, this is extremely disappointing. My family and I will be taking our business elsewhere to a practice that values professionalism, respect, and patient care. What made this experience even more concerning was what occurred during my most recent attempt to resolve the issue. While I was placed on hold by the Tracy office, I contacted the Lodi office to see if they could assist me. The staff member there was extremely apologetic and stated that they frequently hear complaints about the Tracy location and the way patients are treated there. They even acknowledged hearing the phone disconnect while I was still trying to resolve my son's appointment. The contrast in professionalism between the two offices was very clear. While the Lodi staff demonstrated empathy and a willingness to help, the Tracy office unfortunately reflected the opposite rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior that ultimately reflects poorly on the practice and its leadership. It's no problem my family and I are much happier with our new provider but it's important for others to know your level of concern for your patients and how they will be treated when they voice their concerns to your organization. The Dr is Very Caring,she listens to your concerns and addresses them with compassion. Their staff have wonderful customer care. The office is very clean wheelchair/walker accessible~Highly recommended for eye care!!!!!

My appointment today went well. The doctor and staff were all friendly, helpful, courteous and informative.

Excellent service! The doctor explained very clearly and nicely. The staffs are very helpful.

Very unprofessional. I think I was with the doctor less than 5 minutes. At the end of the visit he said that insurance wouldn't cover my cataract surgery but he could do it for $5k. Seemed quite odd especially since I have went to a different doctor and I am now getting the surgery and insurance does cover it.

Tracy delta eye medical office staff are great, caring, help you with everything,they're understanding they're just unbelievably great

i have been going to Delta eye for a few years now. Every time I am greeted by a friendly person. The Dr is the best with her way of explaining things in a way you can understand. Everyone at Delta Eye is awesome.

My mom's eye surgery was very successful performed by Dr Julio Narvaez, he is a great surgeon and his staffs are very caring. Thank you all!
