Zero stars. Never answer the phone. They hang up on you. And if they do answer they tell you there's 3 callers ahead of you. it shouldn't take 30 minutes for me to pick up my glasses. Do better. Will report to medical board as well and health insurance plan. Save your scripted response that is identical to every negative review. Yeah yeah your management will look into it and NOTHING EVER GETS DONE. REPORTS TO BBB as well. This is not acceptable for a doctors office and business. You have too many complaints. Answer your phone. And do better. And stop responding with we will look into it. Thats useless and we all know you're not doing anything about any of these complaints. If that was true there would be no recent complaints because you've fixed the problems. Stay away from this place folks. Its bad service. Really bad. Many others available.

The doctor was very understanding and helpful, and offered new ideas but didn't pressure me. The optician Genesis was so personable and patient as she guided me through a new product Nuance that helps with both my optical and hearing needs. She was really kind.

It's an ownership problem. Golden Optometric West Covina used have good service. No problem with the front desk other than they do take a while answer only to be put on hold. They have to answer phones and provide in-store customer service. That's managements decision to under staff, in my opinion. The glasses I ordered have been at the store for at least 7 days. I can't pick them up because they haven't been looked at/reviewed/approved by staff. A full week!!! They are local, convenient for us, but not that convenient. There are other providers we can buy from. Golden Optometric ownership makes customer service, staff decisions.

I arrived at 3pm for my 3:15 appointment. Was waiting until 3:45 and wasn't seen. The staff couldn't care less when I mentioned it. So I left gracefully after canceling my appointment. If you value your time, stay away of this place. There are way better providers within a 5 min drive radius from this provider.

I was very disappointed with my experience here mainly due to the manager Blanca. This was my first time considering contacts so I simply wanted to know the cost of a contact lens exam with my insurance before proceeding which I think is a reasonable and normal question When I asked the front desk staff I was told I needed to speak with an optician to get that information. I explained that I just wanted to know the price beforehand but was told again that I would have to wait. When I asked who the manager was I was surprised to learn that the person I was speaking with was the manager. I don't understand how a manager who's working the front desk cannot provide basic pricing information like the cost of a contact lens evaluation. Patients shouldn't have to wait at the end of an appointment to find out what they'll be charged. If opticians are the only ones who can answer these questions then you're not a good manager. Overall this experience felt unprofessional and frustrating. Blanca lacks professionalism and basic communication which left a very bad first impression. If this is how the manager is I cannot begin to imagine how the rest of this office is ran.

All the RECEPTIONIST over there. ARE so UNPROFESSIONAL THEY LET YOU HANGing on the phone.. AND WAIT UP TO 20 MINUTES WITHOUT GETTING BACK TO YOU ON THE CALL . AT LEAST THEY SHOULD GO BACK AND TELL YOU WHAT WE WILL CALL YOU WITH AN ANSWER OR SOMETHING. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TRAIN THEM well. That is not how you run a company. And to the owner of the company , please don't copy and paste an answer plz. I've been\nGoing there for years, I even told all my family to go there and finally when I get to sign my husband in there.\nThis happened.. that is really sad.Because the doctors are so good over there.And now you're gonna lose three customers.

So I really do believe this needs to be addressed. One of your receptionist by the name of Nancy is by far the worst person I could ever speak with. I called multiple times today 12/6/25 from 12pm-430pm and everytime she speaks she would put me on hold for more then an hour just trying to make an appointment. I usually dont do reviews but this is by far the worst customer services ive experience. She said she will call me back or would give me an excuse that they're busy. like come on, how hard is it for someone to schedule an appointment? I have never been to this store nor will I ever put my feet on this door. thanks Nancy for ruining my day and dont you worry I made an appointment/business somewhere else. if I can give this experience a zero I would.
