I like my doctor but I am SHOCKED. I paid my invoice last month and was surprised to receive a statement today. I called and asked what it was for (as all my account reflected was amount due - no detailed invoice provided and my EOB said all I owed is what I previously paid). They charged me $38 to "write and hand you your eyeglass Rx" for you to fill. This is not part of the exam fee and, according to them, not billable to insurance. Have you ever gone anywhere else where the doctor gives you an Rx and then charges you ~$40 for handing it to you? No words
In response to their comment "we are sorry you had this experience". They were fully in control of "this experience". They did not explain why they feel charging $40 to hand a patient an Rx is reasonable.

One of the best if not the best eye care centers in Colorado if not the country. I have seen one of the senior doctors (Dr. Joel Goldstein) since 1998 and have trusted my eye care to his expertise since my first eye care crisis. He has moved offices from back in 1998 and I followed him to each new location. This team of doctors work in conjunction with University Hospital and team with one of the leading Opthalmology Professors, who is one of the best in the country instructionally and surgically (Dr. Eric Hink). I trust them with my eye care and I appreciate just how much they care about me as a person and my vision care too! I will only go to this group and no other. If you value your eyes then go here.
