I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Vanray and his staff. They are excellent.
Timely. Thorough. Comprehensive understandable explanations at every step of the way. No pushing for you to choose their glasses or contacts. Alert to and willing to work around all billing and insurance issues (I have NEVER had a doctor's office help on this issue).
I watched how he dealt with a walk in patient with an eye injury when my eyes were being dilated. Dr. Vanray was welcoming and compassionate, instantly concerned with the man's immediate comfort. I was so impressed.
I have been coming here for years, continuing the relationship and driving up when we moved to Denver for 3 years.
Just the absolute best!

We had an appointment to get glasses for my husband in July, and we are still waiting for said glasses. The original pair they sent him were not correct, and we are still waiting for the replacement. They seem unreliable, and have lots of excuses about the delays. I understand sometimes these things can take awhile, but at this point we are 5 months waiting for glasses and that is ridiculous.

Lake Dillon Eye Care geta a big 0 stars from me. I have been texting and/or calling every week since my eye appointment in August (8/5/25) to find out the status of the eye glasses I ordered. Then today (9/12/25) I find out my order had fallen through the cracks. Why didn't they check the status of my order when I first reached out? As I am a 30+ local in Summit County, I will not being going back to Lake Dillon Eye Care in the future. Very disappointed!!

I can not say enough about Dr Wills Vanray's knowledge, patience, professionalism, ability to explain in a level patients can understand. He backs his findings and diagnosis with tangible evidence. Had a wonderful experience with this office. Everyone was very very nice, friendly, helpful and professional from beginning to end. They got me in quickly and my wait time was minimal. The doctor explained everything thoroughly. I was way overdue for my eye exam needing new glasses. He gave me trial contact lenses as well. My glasses turned out great, very happy with this office. If you need anything eye related this is the place to go. They have up to date equipment, great selection of frames and sunglasses.
