Dr. Olga A. Konykhov, MD

Dr. Konykhov just performed cataract surgery for me and my husband. Painless, quick, and excellent result - better than both of us ever hoped for. She was super honest - told us all positives and negatives, helped us choose the right implants and did not try to sell unnecessary technology. Very well organized, answered all our questions and did not rush us out of the office like most doctors do these days. Go to her and trust her skills !

This doctor was my 3d opinion for cataract surgery. Another practice ( in Milford ) just brushed me off to their newest associate who couldn't explain anything. Then I saw ophthalmologist in Stratford who had zero eye contact with me and just wanted to hurry up. I would trust my vision to those. Then friend recommended Dr. Olga Konykhov - finally I had answers to all my questions . She performed thousands of these and you can tell her patients love her. Waiting room had so many patients raving about their outcome. I am one of them now! Happy I got to be her patient. And don't worry if waiting room seems busy - they move it very fast and efficient :-)

I recently moved to CT and needed to get an eye exam and an updated prescription for my glasses. Dr. Konykhov was aggressively trying to force me to sign up for LASIKS surgery even after I told her that I was not interested and my former Ophtho told me I was not a good candidate. She didn't listen to me and only seemed concerned with enriching herself. Caveat emptor!

The office staff was nice but I found Dr. Konykhov to be impolite and unprofessional. She seemed annoyed by my questions and treated me like I was wasting her time. I also noticed her berating her office staff.

Awesome surgeon! I was petrified of cataract surgery. I was so nearsighted, I was told my eyes are so risky and my cataracts were not the typical kind but the ones with more risks. She did fantastic job! Both eyes done, vision hasn't been this good since kindergarten. My neighbor recommended her after she did his entire family, so I knew I was in good hands. And very pleasant as well, not your typical grumpy overworked doctor - she smiles and explains . Thank you

Impressive eye physician who clearly knows her stuff - i came with a bag of drops prescribed by 4 others eye doctors none of which could treat my infection. She took time to listen, performed eye culture and properly diagnosed/treated me. She didn't write a random prescription like others did. Only seeing her from now on

I seriously love her and her work I did surgery 1.5 year ago with Olga and I can't be happier than I am! Everything from consultation to follow up visits went perfect, she is the doctor who CARES about results. I'm sending a lot of people her way!

This doctor sent the wrong prescription for lenses to be made for me. I waited 10 days for the lenses to be made, only to have to wait another 10 for them to be remade. The mistake should never have happened. Good thing she isn't a heart surgeon.
