I had a great experience with my son- initial visit was very quick as we already had a prescription from another eye doctor. They recommended frames for my son and a few days later we picked them up. Perfect! No complaints.

I cannot recommend Ave Maria Optical enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt completely cared for. The office is clean, welcoming, and very well organized. My eye exam was thorough and never rushed--my doctor took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. What impressed me most was the genuine care shown. I never felt like "just another patient"; instead, I felt listened to and valued. The staff also helped me pick out the perfect frames and made the process smooth and enjoyable. It is such a blessing to have a trusted, professional, and compassionate eye doctor right here in Ave Maria. I am so grateful for the excellent service and highly recommend Ave Maria Optical to anyone looking for outstanding eye care!

I went to this optical clinic for an eye exam. The first day everything was perfect. The doctor apparently forgot to give me my prescription, and I also forgot to ask for it at the end of the appointment. Then she told me, "Here's my business card, you can call me if you need anything." Almost a month later, my glasses broke, so I called the clinic to see if they could send me my prescription. The girl at the front desk said she would send it after 2 p.m. because the doctor had to do it, and at that moment she was on her lunch break. About two hours later, I called again, and she said the doctor was very busy. I understood and said I would call again the next day to see what happened. The next day I called, and the doctor answered. She told me she would try to send it because she was very busy, and if she couldn't, she would do it Monday morning. I told her I really needed the prescription because my glasses were broken and I can't see anything without them. I never received anything. Terrible customer service -- nothing she did was professional, especially since it's just a prescription that takes five minutes or less to send. I do not recommend this clinic at all.

I had recently booked an appointment to see if I could get more contact lenses and see what other services they offer. I have never been to this location before. The prices for frames for one are ridiculously pricey. Plus it took forever for my contacts to arrive. I won't be returning here.

Dr. Luisa was amazing! Very friendly, down to earth, honest, and made me feel at home. I also had to bring my toddler with me and the whole office was very welcoming to him as well. They played Christian music and the atmosphere was very peaceful. It was also so easy to schedule the appointment. The receptionist messaged me back online within minutes, and scheduled my appointment two days out. The man who does the glasses was also so kind and very helpful with the process, as I had never had glasses before. Overall, very impressed and would recommend!

Such amazing human beings. Dr. Del Toro has taken care of my family for years. She saved my eyesight and I will be forever grateful to her!

Luisa took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the exam. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Del Toro was amazing. I had an eye emergency while visiting the University with my daughter, and she dropped everything to see me at 5pm. She was very thorough and took so much time to take care of me that all of her staff had already gone home by the time she finished. Her staff was so sweet and friendly as well.
