Beverly Hills Eye Clinic

I have been a patient of this optometry practice for a long time and previously had good experiences. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very disappointing. I paid $373 for prescription sunglasses and also asked staff to adjust three pairs of my personal glasses. Two pairs were damaged during the adjustment process (one cracked and one permanently discolored). When I nicely contacted the office to address the issue, staff refused to inspect the glasses or offer a repair or replacement or any other solution. My paid sunglass order was also canceled without my consent, and I was not given clear information about the return of my frames left at the office. I was not told why my prescription sunglass order was canceled as I need them in order to drive. I rely on prescription glasses to see, so this situation was frustrating. I hope the practice improves how it handles customer property and resolves issues when problems occur. I asked to speak to the Doctor to resolve the situation, but the staff refused. I am very friendly with Doctor and I completely do not understand why I was treated this way by the Staff when I have a medical issue.

I just switched to Newcomer Eyecare from another local optometrist. I was very pleased with the care I received here. Their entire staff is friendly and efficient. There was a little delay, but they made sure I was informed and comfortable. The doctor took care of both issues I was having and gave a thoughtful, concise explanation of the treatment. I heartily recommend them!

Was greeted by staff and seen on time. The staff is personable, kind and caring. Dr. Macon took his time with me, and inquired as to whether I had any concerns regarding my vision. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made me feel like I was his most important patient. I'm sure I'm not...but he made me feel that way. He/staff is efficient but I never felt rushed. I had a very thorough and comprehensive eye exam. Dr. Lowe and the entire staff were professional, informative, and took the time to explain my options and answer my questions. They promptly sent my information to an eye institute for further evaluation and cataract surgery in accordance with my insurance. I truly appreciated their efficiency and care.

Dr. Newcomer always takes his time. You aren't a chart number. You are always well cared for and he takes the time to explain what has transpired during the exam. The staff at Newcomer eyecare are experienced, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I truly wouldn't trust anyone else. I have been a patient with Dr. Jay since the 1990s.

Newcomer Eye is amazing. They are so very welcoming and compassionate and above all extremely knowledgeable when it comes to our eye care. My daughter is disabled and the respect and understanding that they extend toward her and all their patients is a blessing in these chaotic times we live in.

Just a great overall experience. I am a new patient & they took me in very quickly. I was in pain in my right eye. Office is beautiful, everyone that took care of me was very nice & professional. Dr Lowe spent plenty of time explaining my situation to me. I did not feel rushed at all. That is rare in my experiences with Doctors recently. Highly recommend this practice!

Once again the overall experience was fantastic. All staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Jay was great in answering my questions and handling my concerns. I recommend this health care provider to anyone. It's just great!
