Dr. Kevin Nehaul is kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful. You can see his passion for what he does, and how he truly cares about his patients and finding the latest and best options for them. He takes the time to listen and educate. I drive all the way from Bradenton for my eye appointments here. Everyone at the office is always pleasant and attentive. I would highly recommend this office & Dr. Nehaul to anyone!

Dr. Aubrianna Pere is an outstanding eye doctor who truly shines in her field. She took her time to hear my concerns and made recommendations accordingly. She and her staff went above and beyond. Thanks for an awesome experience!

For years my husband has suffered from severe eye irritation and extremely watery eyes. His eyes watered so badly that he would sit with tears rolling down his face unable to enjoy watching sports, TV shows, or playing on his phone. It was bothersome for him when he was driving and also dangerous because it blurred his vision. I began researching options and discovered a non-invasive dry eye treatment that was supposed to help my husband with this misery and suffering that he has had for years. So we made an appointment at Riverview Eye Care with Dr. Nehaul that performs this treatment. Dr. Nehaul is using a combination therapy of Lumecca-I ( IPL -intense pulse light) along with Forma-I (like a warm massage for the eye). (Google it) Talk about a game changer! Just after his first visit the results were unbelievable! He just completed his third treatment and this my friends has been life- changing for him! My husband was very skeptical, and didn't think this would work, so now that we see the results from the treatment I feel the need to share his story and tell the world this is a true game changer. I must also add that Dr. Nehaul is the best eye doctor that we have ever seen and the staff at Riverview Eye Care is top notch! You wont find any better eye care than from Dr. Nehaul and his staff!! Excellent! Dr. Pere was extremely informative, supportive, caring, and explained everything that was happening with my eyes. The ladies up front were also very well mannered, and welcoming. Pere even offered to let me use a trial frame to walk around the office and make sure my new prescription is correct before we commit to it. The last doctor that gave me an exam decreased my prescription by over 1 diopter, which as Pere discussed with me was a bit much of a jump. There is a good reason why they have such a fantastic review score!

I was at Riverview eye care today, and when I say I am beyond impressed and elated with my visit. Dr Pere was my Dr and Sarah my assistant. Dr Pere was very, very informative, professional, patient, a very patient listener and overall as nice as any one can be. I totally enjoyed and appreciated my first visit. Sweet, sweet Sarah, with a smile that lit up the room and a very pleasant and warm personality. I enjoyed nice conversation with her, while she smiled throughout the examination. Anyone reading this, if you are looking for an eye Dr with an overall comfort, peace of mind and knowledge! This is the right place. Had my first visit to Riverview Eye Care today. Dr. Pere was terrific. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I also had no wait time. I was extremely satisfied.

I usually type these reviews from my phone, but I had to take a seat at the computer for this one. I'd been in the market for an eye doctor for a little over 6 months now. I decided to do a bit of "shopping" around recently and this practice kept popping up. I decided to go ahead and just bite the bullet. The reviews seemed to be too good to be true. I called and asked about estimates, as I'm in the middle of an insurance transition (i.e., not covered). The estimates were not at all bad and the young lady on the phone was very courteous. One of the things that she said was along the lines of making sure to be masked up before entering when my appointment came along. I was happy about that, but then I thought about some health care centers where you're instructed to do so, but half the dang waiting room is maskless and/or some of the employees aren't even wearing masks properly. When I tell you they were serious, I mean it. I was relieved to see every single person in that building PROPERLY wearing a mask. I'm no mask expert. I study and work with insects, but I know that a mask is meant to cover both the mouth AND the nose. The ladies at the front desk were kind and patient with me. No issues at all (not even with the paperwork) and friendly. I filled out my information prior to arriving, which the young lady over the phone patiently explained to me. I only had to fill out a HIPAA form and decide on whether I wanted to have the retinal imaging done. I wish I knew everyone's name there to give them their proper kudos. I do, however remember Sarah (I hope I'm spelling this right). She was fantastic. Very calm, and patient with me. I'm a bit high strung and get anxious, but her demeanor and professionalism really helped me settle down. She walked me through the pre-exam procedures and was just a very nice person. I'm used to waiting some time before I'm seen by the doctor, which is to be expected. Dr. Nehaul entered quickly, and it didn't feel like I was in an eye exam. It did not at all seem one-sided. It felt like more of a discussion. He sat there and listened to my concerns and did not just stop there. He cared enough to delve deeper into these things and LISTENED. Throughout the process, he explained what was going on and what things meant. He was extremely knowledgeable, but at the same time he was very down to earth. He even waived some components of the exam, which I truly appreciated. I didn't feel as if though he was rushing me to get the heck out of the office. It felt as if though he wanted to give me some assurance and solid, well-vetted advice. The retinal imaging with Sarah was a seamless process. I couldn't quite get the hang of it, but she was patient with me and did not at all give off a frustrated disposition while I fumbled around with the machine. Kudos to her. I sat down with Dr. Nehaul after the exam and discussed the imaging. He did not at all rush that. He explained everything that appeared on the screen, and he really made it make sense. I was also able to obtain my PD. I've had issues with getting this, as certain places "require" purchase. I understand that they must make a living somehow, but Dr. Nehaul was more than happy to provide me with this. I can't remember his exact words, but he made it clear that the office was not about locking folks into spending money in-house, etc. I wish I could remember the young lady's name who helped me with browsing glasses, but she spent a chunk of time going through some of the displays and explaining quotes as well as various materials, which was an educative experience as well. I've seen at least 6 - 7 eye doctors before. I'd have to say that Dr. Nehaul, Sarah, and the rest of the folks at Riverview Eye Care are currently #1 in my book. You could tell that their goal wasn't how to best earn money, but how to best see about the patient. An honest practice. Excellent Folks, Excellent Facility, Excellent Exam. If only all healthcare practices were this way. I thank the Good Lord for these folks like these.

I can't say enough great things about Riverview Eyecare! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure every step of my visit was smooth and comfortable. Dr. Pere is absolutely fantastic! She took her time during my exam, answered all my questions thoroughly, and made me feel completely at ease. Her expertise and genuine care for her patients truly stand out. The level of customer service here is phenomenal--everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. I highly recommend Riverview Eyecare to anyone looking for top-notch eye care. I'll definitely be returning for all my future eye care needs!
