Dr. Miller and staff are extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Had the pleasure of doing an eye exam here and they have all the same state of the art machines for testing as the big chains. No waiting around to be seen whatsoever. Also impressed with the wide selection of glasses/sunglasses to choose from. Best place in Palm City by far and Stuart as well in my opinion. Highly recommend
I would definitely recommend Central Eye North! Dr Miller is the best! He has all the latest technology and gives you a very thorough eye exam! My prescription was perfect!! Michele, Dr Millers technician, helped me pick out a pair of frames that fit my face perfectly and looked great! They have a great selection of frames to choice from too!
Really clean, beautiful office plus soda and coffee available, which was nice. The doctor was really patient, kind, and took his time. Honestly it was a great experience overall.
This is the best place on the Treasure Coast. Dr. Peter and Michelle and office staff was amazing. So happy to have a good eye doctor in our area. Not a big box store with hidden fees. If you need your eyes checked or glasses, this is the place to go. I was there on 8-15-2025 and the best vision appointment in my life. They make you feel like a person and care for every need. Don't go anywhere else, this is your new place, you will thank me. Just click like on my comment!!

Can't recommend Central Eyes North enough! Dr. Miller and the team are professional, kind and make you feel like family. From the seamless scheduling process to the wide range of stylish frames, everything feels stress free and easy. We're so grateful to have them here in Palm City!
TL;DR: Five stars are not enough. Central Eyes North exceeded my expectations.
I was reluctant to visit Central Eyes North. I had never bought my glasses anywhere other than a big-box or discount mall shop before. I was under the mistaken belief that a small shop would be expensive and would not have a good range of frame styles.
I walked into Central Eyes North without an appointment, following the recommendation of a family member who had had a positive experience there. Maija, the receptionist, greeted me warmly and told me the doctor would be able to see me shortly. I spent some time perusing the frame selection and met Michelle, the optician and office manager.
Going to the eye doctor feels doubly intimidating to me. First, it is a medical appointment, and I want to know that the doctor I am seeing is competent to assess my ocular health and correct my vision. Second, although I don't spend a lot of time and money on my appearance, glasses are a part of my identity. If I don't like how my glasses look, I won't feel good about myself.
As I was trying on frames, Michelle made me feel that I was immediately in good hands. She seemed to intuitively know how to make suggestions without making me feel rushed, judged, or led.
My unexpected appearance in the office caused Dr. Peter Miller to return early from lunch. He greeted me with enthusiasm, as if seeing me was better than any lunch he might have been enjoying.
I was immediately impressed with him and with the state-of-the-art equipment he used. The examination was easy. Dr. Miller provided me with some advice to address an ongoing problem that no other optometrist or ophthalmologist had been able to solve for me.
When it came time to choose my frames, Dr. Miller, Michelle, and Maija were all happy to indulge me with supportive opinions and suggestions. Once I made my choices, the price point I landed at did not feel any more expensive than what I would have paid at the mall. Yet, the service I received was light-years better.
When my glasses arrived, Michelle was able to adjust them so that they would not hurt me or leave red marks on my face. While that may sound obvious, it was a relief and blessing to me. I returned to the mall shop where I had purchased my last pair of glasses no less than three times to try to get them adjusted so they fit correctly and did not hurt me. In the end, I just accepted that my glasses were going to hurt. I am so glad that chapter of my life is over! For the first time in three years, my glasses no longer cause me pain, and there are no red indentations on my face.
Central Eyes North offers a fantastic team of professionals and a great selection of frames. I could not be happier with my experience there. From now on, this will be the only place I go for my glasses!
Warm and friendly welcome at the front desk by Maija upon arrival followed by the technician Michele who welcomed me as well. She was extremely professional and charming throughout the entire process. Dr Miller took care of me and was nothing less than fantastic! What a wonderful trio! Highly, highly recommended!!
