Vision Ace Hardware

Just picked up a grill from the new Ace Hardware in town, and they **assembled it and delivered it for FREE**--no extra charge, no hassle, nothing. They handled the whole thing like it was no big deal, and it made buying the grill ridiculously easy and stress-free. That alone would've been enough to win me over, but the service was on another level. Walked in and immediately had helpful, knowledgeable people right there--no wandering aisles, no waiting around for someone who doesn't care. They actually know their stuff, take time to explain things, and treat you like a person instead of just another transaction. Compared to Home Depot or Lowe's, it's embarrassing how bad those places feel now. Half the time you're ignored, brushed off, or stuck dealing with employees who clearly don't give a damn. It's frustrating as hell. Ace is the complete opposite--friendly, proactive, and genuinely good at what they do. I'm done with the big boxes for good. This place is leagues better. If you're anywhere near it, go check it out--you'll understand why I'm never going back.

Friendly staff. This store is a great addition to Thonotosasa. Great hardware selection with grills, Ben Moore paint and tools. They even have Stihl power equipment.

Brand new store. Staff is friendly, but the last 2 visits, they seemed way over staffed. All employees i saw were just standing or walking around. The 2 i spoke with were knowledgeable about their products, including pricing and brands. Also knowledgeable about current sales. Convenient location and decent pricing. Very clean store with all the basics.

Finally. A neighborhood hardware store. It was packed but the line moved fast. The employees seem to know their jobs well. A DeWalt pop up was set up outside and I had a chance to explain the issue I had with my mower..ok not his job but venting. He listened and was professional. Nice store. Highly recommend.

Store was clean and management was sufficient. However the female cashier in the front at 1:30 pm December 14th was extremely rude , staring at myself and my wife , she then asked if I was my wife's boyfriend. Staring at us without shame , we replied that we are married, she then kept staring and when we asked why she would ask us , stated that I looked "much younger " than my wife . This was both unprofessional and inexplicable. Why would it matter to her ? To be clear , my wife is six years older than I am , but how unprofessional is it to stare at two people like we had purple skin and then ask something like that , especially in a way that was implied negativity. This experience TOTALLY ruined my wife's day . We will never be going back to this store for this reason , which is disappointing because besides this absolutely rude cashier , the store was clean and the the rest of the employees were friendly. I would suggest that the cashier be reminded to mind her own business and develop a level of professionalism needed to work in retail .

From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The staff greeted me warmly, asked what I was working on, and genuinely took the time to help me find exactly what I needed--without any upselling or pressure.

We are happy there is an Ace in Thonotosassa. Went a couple times, and everyone was very nice. The manager/owner of the store seems very accommodating, said if there is anything specific we want them to carry , to please let her know

The few times I've gone in the experience was made easy and welcoming. Marie was super helpful and attentive to my needs. Her demeanor was pleasant which made my shopping experience super easy. Thank you! I will be back for sure.
