I would give the provider a solid 5 star but if you have ILA insurance you are 100% wasting your time. If we were rating billing and insurance I would give this office negative stars. I tried on glasses in December and by January never got them even ordered. They told me a price but I knew my benefits and it was far off from the correct price. The office will tell you they accept ILA secondary but they will NOT tell you how much it will be after they pick it up. The billing office is also off site so it takes days to get calls back if you ever get one back. Actually when she did call me back she was telling me I don't even have vision insurance after being a customer there for 3 years. She ran my medical insurance for my glasses. I expressed my concerned to the provider and told her I didn't want to part ways but the insurance handling was a mess. A couple years back I paid $720 for contacts, it took me almost a month to receive them, and got a check from ILA a few months later. I went to Milican the with my prescription and ordered contacts (same exact brand) for $285. They told me the price after primary and secondary on the phone in 5 minutes and my contacts arrived 48 hours later. They both use the same exact shipping company (Marlo). I didn't have to run my own insurance by myself to be able to receive my benefits. Southeastern eye could be a great convenience to the Pembroke community but the incompetence of the billing and insurance team makes them a waste of your money. And you'll be waiting for your lenses or contacts for a long time.

Five out of five stars! Dr. Gamble and her staff are the epitome of professionalism while providing compassionate, detail-oriented eye care. I very strongly recommend her practice to anyone seeking eye care that is second to none!

From all the reviews I have read on google and yelp it looks like there is a common issue, lack of communication and follow up. The provider is absolutely amazing and she has the latest and greatest for your eye care. However, from my personal experience from trying to make my initial appointment, waiting over an hour past my appointment when I got one, and the staff is very poor. I have called numerous times over the past month to try to speak to someone about the status of my glasses, no response. My friend got a referral to go there and I told her the same, the doctor is the best but her staff brings the office rating to less than ideal. At this point I just want my prescription so I can take my business elsewhere and cut my losses.

Exceptional Service - Thank You, Dane! Where do I begin? From the moment Dane at Southeastern Eye Center messaged us back, she was an absolute delight. She went out of her way to accommodate both my elderly parents for same-day appointments, created their profiles, and clearly explained what to bring and what to expect. Managing appointments, insurance, and multiple providers can be overwhelming, but Dane's attentiveness and professionalism made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I'm so grateful for her kindness and efficiency. Kudos, Dane -- keep up the great work!

Dr. Gamble and her technician were wonderful!! I traveled 3 hours for her patient who is a disabled veteran. The veteran has difficulty traveling because of motion sickness while riding and uses a wheelchair and his legs were bothering him. Our appointment wasn't until 3:30, but we got to the office at 11:45 (very early). I asked if there was any way the veteran could be seen sooner. They were extremely busy that day, so Dr. Gamble took most of her lunch hour just to do the exam needed on the veteran. Everyone who works there were so sweet and caring. Wonderful staff!

Visiting The South Eastern Eye Center today felt very welcoming and we enjoyed the smiles from everyone whom made us feel at home. They were very professional and knowledgeable about what I needed to be successful upon my reasoning of visiting.

My visit was a very enjoyable experience. I was greeted immediately and was seen with 5 minutes of filling intake forms. The staff was great.

Very friendly staff. Clean facility. Service was great, timely. If it weren't due to a va visit and I lived in the area I frequent tjis office for all my vision needs.
