The office staff were super friendly and attended to me right away when I walked in. This office has a very friendly And caring atmosphere. The doctor was great. He's always very thorough and talks to you through every part of the exam. Finding the right pair of glasses and getting through all the paperwork was a breeze. My only complaint was the gal who put the drops in my eyes, was very rushed and got drops all over my face. Which I want to be clear has never happened before. Other than that, it was a good visit

Seamless, Friendly Eye Care -- All in One Visit.
Had the opportunity to schedule a last-minute optometry and diabetic eye exam at Aloha Eye Care in Kihei. It's a beautiful facility with plenty of parking.
After just a few minutes, I was called in for the preliminaries with an attentive assistant who reviewed my basic information and completed both manual and computer-aided exams.
Dr. Jeffry Guild was my optometrist. He was friendly and efficient, offering several chances to ask questions along the way.
The exam itself was painless. I did have dilation -- something I've gotten used to (always bring your own sunglasses!). After all the usual checks and measurements, I was on my way with a new vision prescription.
The reason I returned to Aloha Eye Care after trying a different provider was that they combine the diabetic and eye health exams with the optometry exam into one seamless appointment, whereas my previous provider required scheduling them separately on different days.

Dr Guild 5 stars. The customer service was lackluster. The interaction was not friendly, warm, or inviting. While asking questions, the employee allowed another customers to interrupt and took their attention away instead of finishing the interaction. Overall, it felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Very disappointing customer service. It made the experience feel rushed and unimportant. I will take my business elsewhere.

Dr Guild is awesome! He doesn't push unnecessary procedures, he covers all the problems one might encounter in an annual exam, with a plan if needed. We are so lucky to have him in Kihei! My eye doctor in Honolulu for glaucoma was very happy to know that Dr. Guild would be doing my annuals. Today, he took time to explain some very interesting parts of how Ieuesightchanges as we age. This allows me to make really good choices in my healthcare. Bravo!

This wonderful doctor saved our vacation when my friend got a foreign body in her eye. It was caught under her eyelid and defied all attempts for us to flush it out. He got her in right away and was able to remove it using the slit lamp to find it. Immediate relief for my friend. We can not thank everyone at this clinic enough!
