Ohana Ranch

Our visit to the Big Island wouldn't have been the same without the Ohana Family Ranch ATV Tour! it was truly the highlight of our trip! As family visiting Hawaii for the first time with our two kids, I wanted an experience that felt real, meaningful, and connected to the land and this tour gave us exactly that and more. Our guide, Alana, was incredible. She wasn't just knowledgeable about the land, she shared stories about the history, people, and spirit of Hawaii in a way that really made us feel part of it. What touched me most was how she spoke about how Hawaii's land is enriched with cultures from around the world, even connecting it to our African roots and the shared sense of community and resilience. We also had the chance to sit down with one of the ranch owners, who shared the inspiring story behind the ranch, the mission to create a sustainable spe t that feeds, supports, and educates the next generation of the people while preserving its culture and traditions. Hearing their passion and seeing how they're teaching the next generation about the land's true history made this experience unforgettable. This wasn't just a tour, it was a learning experience, a cultural exchange, and a reminder of how deeply connected we all are. If you're thinking about booking it, don't hesitate. This is the kind of authenticity you can't find on any other tour.

I loved this tour. It was so much more than just an ATV ride. I loved how knowledgeable Hannah was and how she threw in the Hawaiian words so fluidly as she shared the history. I forget the other girl's name but she was so sweet and tough too! The ATVs were awesome and the instruction and "practice" in first gear was so valuable, even though I was so nervous at first. The farm was so amazing...picking and eating the fruit was fun.....the luau pit was inspiring.....spotting three wild pigs was cool. One member of our group wasn't feeling it so she rode with the instructor as a passenger and still had a blast. Can't wait to try the coffee that I purchased at the end. Advice to new riders: stay looking UP and down the road. Watching the ground in front of you doesn't work! lol!! I finally figured that out! 5 stars!!

The culture and love you feel on this farm is real. From the moment you step foot in the little hut where you check in, to the mud rides through the farm you feel welcomed. Hannah and Sam were amazing tour guides who were very knowledgeable, kind and respectful throughout the ride. We learned so much about the native/non-native plants and culture of Hawaii, alongside the language which we loved hearing and learning about. Snacking on the guava's was also a fun little snack to enjoy along the ride!

Amazing time at the Ohana Ranch. Our guide Kanoe was fantastic! He provided great history on the ranch and the animals in their care. Bottle feeding the baby goats was so much fun! They animals are well taken care of and friendly. The guava was delicious! Will definitely be back!

We did an ATV tour led by Alana and David. They were amazing hosts, extremely knowledgeable, and full of aloha. The ranch is run with heart and much respect to their aina. Highly recommend this experience when on the big island!

Alana was amazing great tour guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The baby goats and pigs were so cute! Definitely will come back again next visit!

We had an amazing time at the ranch today. We spent over an hour feeding and cuddling baby goats and pigs with our host, Kanoe. She was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. The goats and pigs were both utterly adorable! They were all gentle and affectionate making it perfect for both us and our 10-yr old grandson. I'd highly recommend the ranch for this, and any other activity they offer. So worth it!!

We loved our ATV tour and the tour guides (Hannah and Keoki) were so friendly and knowledgeable. We got to plant ki trees and pick strawberry guava fruit. Awesome way to spend my birthday in Hawaii! Thanks for everything guys!
