Counter reception staff is always helpful, friendly and professional. Wait time is minimal with a scheduled appointment. Our family likes David Anzai' and we've been with him for years. Knowledgeable, professional and with sound advice. We appreciate his compassion and kindness. Great Optometrist!

This was my first visit at Aloha Eye Clinic. I was referred for COMMUNITY CARE-OPTOMETRY service to the clinic by my VA provider, Dr Alaimalo. My first impressions from making an appointment to checking-in, was that, this establishment is very professional. The eye technician assistant who prepared me for Dr Ariyoshi was very thorough & efficient with her datas and testings. Meeting Dr Ariyoshi was met with familiarity as I was acquainted with his dad & grandfather during my school years in Lahaina. I was impressed with how knowledgeable Dr Ariyoshi was with his series of testings and info-gathering questions. He made it a point to make sure that all my questions and concerns were brought forth before I was released from his visit.

Dr Carp is a very concerned and understanding doctor. He shows compassion and explains thoroughly the problems and concerns we should know about the illness. He has one of the best bedside manners. We love him

Dr Guild saw me on a Saturday just after I had arrived in Maui with a flare in my eye condition. I appreciate that he accepted a new pt w an urgent issue on a Saturday. This was a very helpful service and saved me hours in the emergency room. He provided great care with great education and explanations.

Really impressed with this Clinic! Kind, helpful staff - they got me in last minute for a corneal abrasion. Dr Guild was caring and professional. What stuck out the most was he offered education on what I was experiencing in a way I could understand, he clearly laid out the several options I had for treatment, and he made it clear it would be my choice in how I proceeded. He clearly values informed consent and patient autonomy, which I feel can be rare to find! I highly recommend him, and Aloha Eye Clinic in general.

First of all, I felt comfortable as I entered the door. I had a warm welcoming and after that I had more happy faces as I continued my appointment. Staff are very respectful. Dr Guild is quick to make sure I had all the information I needed about my eyes health. I felt comfortable talking to him. Very knowledgable and efficient in his eye exam. He knew latest on cataract lens replacement. He explained glaucoma and why a baseline was necessary in my case. I will return again next year since United Healthcare covered the eye exam.

Dr. T is energetic and thorough. He provided me with easy to understand information. He asked about our timeline on Maui and then provided suggestions to follow up on my issue. I would highly recommend him as a doctor who cares about his patients.
