Always so accommodating and kind. They allowed my favorite frames to be reused, and since then, have straightened out 2 pairs of glasses, accidentally stomped or sat upon by your truly. Both my hubby and I will be taking our business back to them. Thank you Sydney and Danielle!

Frankly, I appreciate the people that work here. Danielle, Theresa and the rest of the staff are...incredible. They do an exceptional job to accommodate everyone, even on short notice. I understand some people have an inflated sense of self-worth, and they visit feeling like they should be the center of the universe, but these guys do their best, and we need to appreciate that, especially considering how many people they serve, so some patience is necessary. Thank you!

**UPDATE** If you don't wish to read through my review just know that if you leave a review that doesn't shine them in a positive light, they may pull your information from your patient files and call you to harass you over your Google review and then leave a snarky response on your review... * * * About a week ago I posted a review on Google about my experience regarding this clinic. Long story very short, we took my son here for an eye exam after it was mentioned by his Teacher that he may need glasses. My Husband wasn't very confident in the exam performed so we sought a second opinion in Spokane at Northwest Pediatric Ophthalmology. The exam went very smoothly and we were told that the prescription we were given by this clinic was incredibly off from what he actually needed and that they were glad we didn't follow through with that prescription because it could have worsened his Vision given it was much lower than what he needed. Upon coming home I needed my sons PD measurement so that I could order him glasses (Northwest does not fit for glasses). I called around in the area and was told that no one would do that unless I had the exam done with them. Rather than put my Autistic son through a *third* exam, I took him back to BF Eye Care for them to measure his PD. After this I posted my (factual and can easily be proven) experience on Google. This morning I get a call from their Business Manager regarding my Google Review. The first thing I was asked was "Did you leave a review on Google?" which then proceeded into a conversation about my review and what that can do to a small business. I personally felt harassed as I know that this is not a *legal* use of patient records which makes it a violation of HIPAA Laws (I called Idaho Civil Rights and the Regional Representative of the Pacific Area to make sure ;) ). I wasn't in any way comfortable being contacted for the sole purpose of discussing my Google review.

Life savers - lost a contact when I was in Creston, BC. Optometrist there was closed on Fridays and this was the first optometrist I came across on my journey towards Seattle. My optometrist in Canada was able to fax my prescription and Bonners Ferry Eye Care sold me a single set of lenses to get me through my trip. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

I had a very pleasant experience in this office. They were friendly and helpful to me. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a eye doctor. They are very experienced in what they are doing. They do referrals for specialist if you need one. They also call and make sure you are doing good and if not then they will make another appointment as soon as possible.

I just moved to Bonners Ferry last May. After moving here my iritis flared up. I chose Bonners Ferry eye care to treat me. This is a condition were you have very strong light sensitivity , loss of vision , & a lot of pain. Both Doctor Tholl & Arielle were very professional & helpful. Both of them made sure that i was taken care of on both the medical & insurance side of my repeated visits so she could monitor the progress of me getting this taken care of. I have had this many times in the past so i know what the treatment consists of. Dr. Tholl & Arielle went above & beyond to help me in every way possible & i recovered quicker than i ever had in the past. On both the medical & insurance side of all this i have never met better people to deal with. I even had good experiences with the Ponderay office too. They are one of the best eye care people i have ever dealt with. I have recommended & will keep recommending them to anybody who asks my opinion. I have never been more satisfied with the service & the great people!!!!

Not as their advertising says at all. I have insurance but from the beginning it was rush rush on everything with my care by the optometrist, then a long turn around time for just new lens to be put into my frames only to discover they didn't replace anything; same ole scratches and no new prescription. Fraud; Don't let all the curtsy little side talk fool you....go on to Sandpoint or CDA. All I received was a tightened side screw, nothing professional. All the door locking is to guard against their having control, not covid really. FRAUD! Stay away or be cheated. The optometrist was paid by my insurance as well as I paid a $35.00 co pay. I decided it was my civic duty and my brotherly obligation to warn others. I still do not have a new pair of glasses. This matter is closed now; I have no desire to call or continue this dialog.

Bonners Ferry Eye Care does not accept VSP Insurance, but they will give you a form to fill out and submit for some help on costs. I like the convenience of having an eye clinic in our small town of Bonners Ferry, and Dr. Tholl is very thorough in taking care of our vision issues.
