Priest River Eye Care

I had a very good impression walking into Priest River Eye Care. The reception area is filled with light, and a nod to the former thrift store with shelves displaying vases, bowls, eyewear, etc. There is a good selection of eyewear choices, without being overwhelming. Dr. Harrell did not rush my eye exam, and spent time talking about my eye disease, which no other doctor had ever done. I chose two frames I liked and the receptionist explained choices and prices, once again no rushing through the process. A great experience!

I had an excellent experience with Priest River Eye Care. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule in a timely manner after I had gotten a piece of grit from a grinder wheel lodged in my left eye. I was very pleased with the friendly atmosphere as well as friendly personnel. My over all impresion of Priest River Eye Care is that they genuinely do care about the welfare of your vision.

I couldn't let one person's misperception of this remodeled thrift store go unchallenged. Other than Dr. Nate performing janitorial business while I was there, I found the reception area, as well as the staff, in a very professional appearance. Being a native of PR it's refreshing to see this property improvement and to have another healthcare option. Dr. Amber was very thorough and professional with her exam. Product selection is pretty good considering the small community it serves. The only thing I would change is the insurance acceptance, but I'm well educated in the complexities of the insurance world. Kudos to PR for welcoming this business!!

My exam was very thorough. Love the atmosphere, I could have stayed and visited all day. Marla helped me choose frames that worked for me. I felt both the Dr. and Marla were experienced in their positions. I would refer my family and friends.

I was really excited to hear that Dr. Nate Harrell in Sandpoint ID, had open a store in Priest River ID, eyeglass/eye-care close to home but was highly disappointed in the service of the receptionist, she was unprofessional, in her manners and outerwear, overall grooming and seemed clueless and didn't offer any help when asking about frames sizes etc. The eye doctor herself was good but felt like my exam was rushed and not in depth like the ones I normally have had, many of the other test were not given, like eye pressure! I've had to call to see if my glasses came in after being told it take two weeks, plus the place was closed during posted business hours, sign said be back in 15 min and had hour wait! I really think it can work and hope it does, once the bugs are worked out, because eye glass/eye care is needed! Ann J.

I had a great experience with Dr. Prins at the Priest River Eye Clinic. It is so nice to have a clinic in Priest River and even nicer to have a local graduate be the Dr.

I'm so happy that I found this place! The staff was great! Love the receptionist, so friendly and personable! My husband and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much for such a positive experience!
