Pearle Vision

This visit was great. I met my new eye dr. He was super nice and knowledgeable. Alex was in training and went above and beyond to make sure I understood every test and the reasoning behind them. Michelle helped me find a pair of glasses that worked well for my face. I was so happy with her opinion and help that I ended up getting two pairs. I would recommend this staff/office to everyone.

rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. I purchased a pair of glasses for over $500, and from day one they have caused significant discomfort, especially pain in the back of my head. I returned to the Crest Hill location over three separate times to have them adjusted, and each time they were still not fitted correctly. The issue was never properly resolved. What's even more frustrating is that I was told I could not exchange the glasses despite the company policy stating they will "make it right" within 30 days of purchase. That policy was not honored in my situation. I found it extremely difficult to work with the staff at the Crest Hill location. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the amount of money spent. Out of frustration, I visited the Oak Brook location and they corrected the issue on the first try. The difference in service was night and day. Oak Brook was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They also have a much better variety of frames to choose from. I would strongly recommend going to the Oak Brook location instead of Crest Hill. Based on my experience, Crest Hill Pearl Vision was a very poor experience.

I always have anxiety doing eye exams and picking out new glasses. Dr Mordarskiy was awesome. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions asked. Tim was great with helping pick out frames. Jennifer helping break everything down to make sure I got everything I wanted on my new glasses. Today was the best experience I've had at an eye appointment. Thank you!!

The whole staff was great! Alex helped me to look through frames while Jennifer helped me find everything in my budget! 10/10 recommend for a quick easy stress free experience!

I worked very closely with Michele in the office and she was super helpful and help me pick out a really cute pair of glasses. When I picked him up, I got good service and even the owner helped to make sure that they fit appropriately. I see an eye specialist and always bring my prescription to this Pearle vision because they have a wide variety to choose from, they're super friendly and have good customer service.

They have been great. I took my sister in for an exam and new glasses and she has trouble walking . They understood this and helped. They were awesome.

*DISCLAIMER* I haven been a reviewer for a long time and I pride myself in providing fair reviews, preferring to give Kudos as apposed to complaints. This review is specifically for the Crest Hill IL location. This was my first time at Pearl Vision, I went in for an eye glass & contact lens exam with an appointment scheduled online. The exam itself was standard, Doctor was professional and pleasant. I did feel rushed, by both the doctor and the optician. I had intentions of purchasing contacts for the first time and I wanted to purchase new lenses and have them put into frames I brought with me. The optician told me that it would be 730.00 for the lens swap!! This was JUST FOR LENSES, no transitions, or fancy tints! The contact estimate from my insurance was 168.00 for a 6 month supply and she told me it would be approx 260.00 per EYE per 6 months! I told her I could not afford that and took my prescription with me. I used the prescription to order lenses online and have them put into my existing frames. Upon wearing my new glasses, I noticed I could not read things at a distance. I went to my previous eye doctor to compare my old prescription to my new one and noticed a huge difference. I went back to Pearl Vision to see if I could get my eyes retested. The receptionist talked about every scenario she could come up with as to why it was not the eye exam that could cause my eyes to not see correctly out of my new glasses. She then tested my new glasses and confirmed the prescription was accurate , like she was proving a point. I told her I was not disputing the eyeglasses were not made correctly (which was good to know since this was the first time I ordered glasses online), I am saying I do not think the prescription is accurate and just want my eye retested. She then explained the process to make glasses and if they are not lined up properly bla, bla, bla. Keep in mind, I wasn't asking for a refund for my glasses or even a refund for what I paid for my eye exam. I just wanted my eyes retested. I was getting frustrated and said "so you are not going to retest my eyes?" She said NO. I could not believe this, I gathered my things and walked out. I gave them a chance to call me back by turning to say "It would have been real easy for me to walk away a happy customer, and you chose not to" If you value customer service, I do not recommend this specific Pearl Vision. I will be going back to America's Best to pay for another eye exam, and when it differs from the one I just received from Pearl Vision I will have proof of their error to take this to corporate for a refund (which I wasn't even wanting to begin with)

So far this has been by far my best eye visit ever, anywhere. April was working the desk when you walk in and had such a bubbly personality. A gentleman walked in after me and was rude demanding assistance treating April extremely poorly and she stayed professional with him trying her best to help him while he continued to belittle her. Sean was able to help temporarily fix the gentleman's frames and get the man on his way. Jeanan was the specialist that helped and provided insight on some new lenses I had never heard about which I'm excited to try out. Giving me information and updates that I was worried about and letting me know everything was good to go. Overall Pearl Vision has done a great job bringing in a team of such great people and I look forward to keeping this branch as my main eye doctor.
