The first time I visited the Murphysboro office was in 2009 when I first moved to the town. Life happened and we moved around only to return back to the same small town. My experience then was just as pleasant as my most recent visit in the beginning of March. The staff was very welcoming. They got both me and my kids in right away. They answered all of my questions and even handled my struggle to find the perfect frame for my new prescription without one ounce of annoyance. I appreciate all of the kindness they have shown during my and my kids visits. The current doctor is absolutely amazing. She was very sweet and forward with explaining everything about each of our prescriptions and recommendations on how to help my kids adjust to their new glasses. She took her time with my 4 year old son, who is not the easiest when it comes time to assess in any situation if you dont take the extra time to explain nd show things to him. They all pitched in where needed and he is actually excited to get his first pair of glasses thanks to their positive energy. I absolutely recommend this place.

Not great so far. Called the Murphysboro office months ago to make appointments for my two 3 year olds. I go in the day of the appointment to find out that they scheduled it at Carbondale's location because this one doesn't allow two family members to have an appointment on the same day. So I then rushed to Carbondale to do the appointments. Just to find out that they were going to do dilation that would make them blurry all day. Was never told that and I wouldn't assume 3 year olds needed that. So I had to reschedule. Carbondale office said that they have to do my kids separately. I asked to do them together again and they said no. I said in that case, can I just do the Murphysboro office since I live closer to there. They said go ahead and call them. I called Murphysboro's office and they made the appointments for the same day again in Summer. I had to ASK where it would be, and once again it was the Carbondale office. STOP scheduling people at different offices that they DID NOT call without telling them! How would they know!? I just had to reload and unload my kids multiple times because the communication here did not exist.

They called to reschedule my vision appt for an earlier date, I thought great, but after I got my prescription they told me Im not eligible on my insurance for glasses until January, so my prescription will already be a few months old. Kind of shitty, Im taking the prescription and going elsewhere or buying online, shady business. Do not work well with people with IDD, even when told what accommodations are needed, would not allow extra time to process/answer and my friend was told they couldn't give her a new prescription because they couldn't do the test. She is SO easy to work with. My first visit I had to come back another day to pick glasses because they overscheduled and were closing, told me after I had waited over 45min

I've been to a few of their locations. The Murphysboro location was the worst of all of them. The doctor I saw there was extremely rude. I'll never go back. The Carbondale location was a lot better, but a longer wait.

I love both the Murphysboro and Carbondale offices. The staff at both places are very courteous and helpful. My surgeries were done quickly and I was given several calls afterwards to check in on me. I couldn't ask for anyone better because to me, they are the best. Thank you for your services and keep the good work up.

First thing! I received a email reminder for eye exam made a appointment online never received a confirmation, email, or callback. 2 weeks later I tried to call for a week no answer. Finally got a answer made appointment. day of appointment i walk in the Murphysboro office the lady at desk never looked up stood there for a minute still nothing so i sat down waited for about 10 mins three employees walk past me never good morning , hi, have you been helped. rude if i do say so myself

I could not be happier that I came here. They were able to give me a same-day appointment and I received my glasses within 2 days since I needed them ASAP. They really cared about taking care of me. Everyone was super friendly and easy to talk to. Would come here before anywhere else again!

I've been going to to Marion Eye for over 30 years. I've always had good things to say. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. If ever I had a problem they were quick to fix it and very apologetic. I give them 5 stats. Excellent!
