Bright Eyes Family Vision

I have been to a few Eye care places since my regular Dr. retired, and none have been able to get me a prescription that actually works. My glasses prescription is a little difficult but Bright Eyes nailed it. With their modern computerized equipment and knowledgeable staff My new glasses are the best. I highly recommend Bright Eyes in Pingree, IL.

A friendly staff and Dr. Vatianou is the BEST! He has great bedside manners! Definitely would recommend him 100%. My family and I have been going to him for years.

This was a nice place while Dr. Kara owned it. Unfortunately, private equity has claimed another one. Now, prices have gone up while service and quality have gone down.

Waited for a month to be seen, for a normal eye exam, only to be called 4 days before -to have THEM cancel- because the doctor "decided to take vacation". WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. Heres an idea. Keep your appointments, don't make excuses, and you can keep your customers. If I would have been told last month, I would have made other plans, last month.

Stephanie was kind and helpful She was careful to clean all the instruments. The optometrist was personable and professional. She had made clear notes from my last visit and was very nice about following up.

This was my first time with Bright Eyes and they have earned my business for a lifetime. The office was beautiful, inviting, and professional. Technology was more advanced than my prior vision center and less invasive - a welcome change. Doctor Kara was kind, knowledgeable, thorough in answering my questions and made great recommendations based on my vision needs; it was refreshing to have a doc who treated me as more than a number. Staff was friendly and supportive. I had a blast meeting them all and chatting (and discovering a shared love for Jack) while we selected our eyewear; they helped us make a great selection and accomodated our budget. Thank you, Brian, for going above and beyond. And last but not least, Maisie was lovely and sweet; her presence says a lot about Bright Eyes' values. Thank you, to the whole team, for an excellent experience.

BEWARE of unethical billing practices from this place. Made an appointment for eye exam for glasses for my husband and was told total charge would be $30. We were surprised so we confirmed twice that total charge would be $30 and we were assured that was correct. Just got a bill for $137 and add that to the $30 we paid which brings the total charged to $167!!! When we called to ask what happened to the total charge of $30 we were told that no one ever said that. Stay away from this place!
