The Eye Doc

The eye Dr is very nice. She explains everything and takes the time to listen. The staff are very sweet and patient. I give them way more stars than 5. Their prices are unmatchable.

They treat public aid patients like dirt! Would not schedule an 8 year old little girl all because we missed two appointments in the span of over a year and a half ago! Mind you my mom who I brought in as a patient with my daughter was dying of cancer so sorry if we missed two appointments last year! So now she refuses to give a child in need an eye exam and said she doesn't have to take her because of the insurance she has.

This office is absolutely the best. My kids love it here and I was able to bring them all in (4 kids) and have them all seen the same day. It was quick and painless and they love Dr Lauren! We've been going here for a while and can't recommend it enough.

I am a newer client and I wish I had found them sooner! I can say I love my eye doctor now! They always are so kind, patient, & accommodating! They have helped me on multiple accounts and I recommend them to everyone!

I was looking for a top rated doctor in the area and found this one. They are also listed as an approved provider through my insurance. I called and left my info and said I needed to make an appointment, never called me back. I tried again a week or so later with the same results. Never contacted me. I heard that this practice was taken over by the daughter, maybe she doesn't care as much as her father did. Back to square one. Thanks for nothing!

I was having a hard time seeing words on paper and while using the computer. I called on Tuesday to verify they accepted my insurance. I made an appointment for Thursday. Staff was friendly. The place was clean and the exam was great. I was asked if I had any questions after my exam. I picked my glasses and left. I received a call that my glasses were ready on Tuesday. Wow!! I can see now. Thank you Eye doc for great customer service and a fast turnaround.

I along with my wife and kids have been going to the eye doc in Romeoville for 25 years and recently my mom has become a patient also. I always thought very highly of Dr. Richard Wojcik and was saddened to hear he was retiring. The thought of looking for a new eye doctor was unsettling. I soon discovered that his daughter Dr. Lauren, was taking over. Well I figured there was a glimmer of hope. And I was right. Dr. Lauren is a kind, caring, and compassionate optometrist. She is very patient and never rushes through your exam. She's everything her father was and and maybe a little bit more. Sorry Dr. Richard, but she is definitely cuter than you. Furthermore, Dr. Lauren is the kind of doctor, who genuinely cares about her patients above and beyond monetary means. In todays world, I feel she is a hidden gem and a great attribute to her profession. Thank you for all you do. Also, I'm sorry I don't know her by name, but the receptionist, who has been there for quite some time, is always so sweet and so helpful and I would like to thank her for making every visit just so pleasant.
