I saw Dr Walden and his staff for my eye exam last week. They are just wonderful! Very kind and welcoming, but very professional as well. My optical experience was streamlined and I just love my glasses! I was pleasantly surprised at their prices as they are much lower than other optometry offices I've been to in the past. I was treated so well and truly felt like a part of the family. They have an exceptional team there!

I recently visited Walden Eye Care and had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the office was clean and inviting. Dr. Walden was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt comfortable and well-cared for throughout the visit. The team even helped me choose the perfect pair of glasses. I highly recommend Walden Eye Care for their professionalism and genuine care. Thank you!

Another great visit to take care of my eye care needs! Dr. Walden is always very personable and interested in giving me the best care for my eyes and vision. He always gives my eyes a very thorough exam and lets me know about any changes in my vision. He also lets me know about the latest in contact lenses. Kathy, as always, is very personable and does a great job of getting me checked in and running tests on my eyes before I see Dr. Walden. Callista, at the front desk, was very thorough in making up the estimate for the cost of my contact lenses and letting me know what insurance would cover. Missy, in eyeglasses, was very thorough in making sure that my eyeglass needs were met. Thank you to everybody for a very enjoyable visit!

I took my mother to Walden Eye Care and had a wonderful experience! Dr. Walden is incredibly kind, intelligent, thorough and does an excellent job at educating patients. The office has all up to date equipment, and recently went under a beautiful renovation. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their prices are very reasonable, and carry all the up to date styles in glasses and sunglasses. Our appointment was smooth from check in to check out.I will absolutely be going back!

I arrived at Walden Eye Care and was warmly welcomed by the staff. The place was very clean and calming. I anxiously anticipated the awful machine that puffs the air into your eye, but fortunately never had to see it or have it done. Walden Eye Care has state of the art equipment that made that machine out of date. When getting my exam I had many questions. All of my questions were answered patiently and promptly by Dr. Walden. The exam was very thorough and he did a great job explaining everything where I could understand. Walden Eye Care definitely stays up on the times and technology for their eye products too. I was very pleased with the visit, exam, staff, Dr. Walden, my prescription, and eye wear. I've been to many different eye care providers and Walden Eye Care was the best by far. This was definitely a big surprise in a small town.

Disclaimer: These are my opinions alone, every client or potential client has the right to their own opinions. Below is the last correspondence I had with Mr. Walden and his staff. Mr. Walden, I had no plans of returning to you for anything, you are unprofessional, arrogant and obviously a money hungry person. I would not come back to you if I were paid too. Losing a few hundred dollars, or not having my insurance reinstated is not the issue. The issue is being treated by your staff and You like I was lying, or that I was seeing things that didn't exist. You had a problem with me from the point that I decided to go to Whitewater for my cataract surgery and you showed it very clearly. You wanted your cut and didn't get it, how sad for you. You were not concerned with my eye care, you were upset with me for not going to the Dr. You wanted me to go to Indianapolis. When I came back for my final exam with you, you were upset and said "can I see what they (Whitewater) did to your eyes". So as for my actions, I apologized to the young lady that I spoke with on the phone, but I still feel you are a phony, narcissistic person that uses religion and God's name to prey on people. You and your staff have no place in any health care and I intend to tell everyone MY experience. I too talked to the VPA representative (my vision insurance), she told me that you can give me an insurance refund, but that it would have been out of your pocket. Being about the almighty dollar I can see why you refused. We know you and "money" you wouldn't dare do such a thing. But no worries, I have already found a Doctor elsewhere and have explained the experience that I had with YOU and your staff and how I was blamed for the brand new glasses and the issue I was having, and how you said and I quote the young lady " Dr. Walden said that you should return to Whitewater, it is their problem." But I didn't purchase my eye glasses from them, so how can they fix the problem? There again your anger shows through about my decision to go to Whitewater. The VPA rep also agreed that you should've been more concerned with solving the problem and not be so obvious about being upset with the decision I thought was best for ME.I do appreciate the fact that you diagnosed my cataracts, I see beautiful colors now. When I see clear glass versus tinted I know the difference in what I'm seeing. Thanks to you and your recommendation to have the eye surgery, I could see the tint in the glasses you sold me, even though your staff insinuated that I was lying because they supposedly couldn't see it. I was insulted at how I was being treated and talked to. Maybe they need cataract surgery and you can get your share of that money from them. The care I received from Whitewater was amazing and the best financial and medical decision I made for myself (not for you). The place you wanted me to go to would've been a 3 and a half hour drive for 2 days back to back plus the time in the office and surgery. My husband would have missed two full days of work. They were also going to charge me roughly $2,000.00 dollars more than Whitewater. Whitewater is 10 minutes from my home and in my insurance network. My husband only needed to take off work for a few hours. I am so thankful that you understand that. With that being said, may God always be with your clients. I hope that in the future, you are more thoughtful about how your staff and yourself handle things before they escalate like this has. P.S. My new glasses are not tinted and are crystal clear. I was not treated as if I were crazy, lying, or seeing things at my new Optometrist. So thank your staff for insulting me. Let them know they did the best thing that day, it made me realize I needed a new Optometrist with a staff that will actually listen and not be condescending. SIncerely, Veda Ramey

Got switched from my home town eye doctor to Walden a couple years ago, and couldn't say how thankful and grateful i am for the staff and Dr. Walden. Always friendly and supportive to getting everything eye wear or anything with the eyes. Couldn't recommend a better eye doctor!!

Amazing service and the staff are outstanding they give service with a smile everytime I visit them. What a wonderful team! They are the kindness, sweetest, and most genuine people in the world! Me and my family love the Walden's so much. Thanks for everything you do for us. God bless you all !
