Arrived early to The Good Life Eyecare. This was my first time. The clinic was very clean and cheerful. Front desk greeted me with smiles. They were very friendly and professional. The eye tech took me to the back did testing, She was also kind. Friendly and explained everything before each test. Dr Dara Latner O.D. Came in. She was so pleasant. She thoroughly explained the reading of the tests, to the point where I understood everything. She then discussed the plan of care with me and I agreed. She is a very knowledgeable and professional Eye Doctor I will definitely follow her for my eye care. She gave excellent care, and the staff were all very kind and friendly.

Dara and her staff were amazing and very thorough! I was very happy and didn't feel pressured to make any decisions but they were very helpful in helping me decide on the best pair of glasses for my needs. Highly recommend this place!!

It was my first time going to Good Life Eyecare in Glenwood. The staff was very kind and informative on pricing and what Insurance will and won't cover. Dr. Dara Latner was absolutely amazing! She was very throrough and explained everything in a way I could understand. I HIGHLY recommend giving them a visit if you're in need of someone to care about you and your health. Staff were kind and friendly. My son had what we originally thought was pink eye, he was referred by our doctor to go here due to the pain he was experiencing. They were able to fit us in same day with over an hr. Wait time, which whatever fine we didn't have an appt. No big deal. Was told they didn't accept our insurance (Molina Healthcare) my sons eye was in such pain that I agreed to private pay. Receptionist couldn't give me a estimate on cost until after all the services were provided. They gave him a eye exam. Turns out it wasn't pink eye, but a scratched cornea. They prescribed drops and requested a follow up 2 days later, with another eye exam. When going to pay the balance much to my surprise the total was $305.00, So if you're private pay prepare to overpay! I felt that price for an eye exam was ridiculous even the receptionist seemed to agree. When asked why? She stated it was coded as medical and would email an itemized bill if i wanted. Although the service was fine and I'm sure they are competent in what they do. I will never return here or recommended this place to anyone. I felt taken advantage of and felt they were not transparent and upfront about pricing. Its hard to support local when this is the outcome. For that reason alone I will be taking my buisness elsewhere.
