My experience with Dr. Miller was exceptional. His staff was of the utmost professional and courteous. Dr. Miller extracted multiple metal shards from both of eyes as well as treating me as if I had been a patient for years. This was my first visit and would not consider any other physician with my care. His staff member Dawn who took my call truly was exceptional, getting me in the same day as well as to inform me that I was to be worked in the schedule that day with just couple hours left in the day. Do you know another physician office who would do that for first time patient? I would recommend them to my closet family and friends without hesitations. Just an exceptional place all around. Dr. Miller was great, however the receptionist staff was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable and were very judgmental. I have been coming to this eye clinic for the past 10+ years and now having to commute over an hour drive I had arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment and thought the service and how the situation was handled was unprofessional. I understand arriving late policies to appointments but they did not seem very understanding and I did not feel welcomed after my late arrival. I did get seen and taken care of, however the rest of my appointment seemed hostile and uncomfortable.

Called to make a appointment thinking it would be within a week. Nope tell me it would be December. There's no excuse for a appointment to take that long it's not like it takes one person takes 8 hours for a appointment. Especially in the little town of Hampton Iowa. Plus went in was suppose to get a new pair of glasses sent since I already had a eye exam and insurance wouldn't pay for the glasses at time. Never did see my new glasses.

Yeah, the owner isn't telling the truth, the specialist sent the results to Wood Vision Clinic and they didn't relay them to me. Another thing I forgot to mention to him when I was on the phone with him, that when I was cleaning my glasses one of the lenses fell out of the frame and dropped on a tile floor, chipping the lense in two places on the edge. I went into the Hampton clinic to see if I could get a replacement. After spending over $500 for the glasses, and they are the glasses I bought their. I asked how much a replacement lense would cost, they said $145. Since it's their frames, I would think it would be their obligation to replace the lense without cost, since I spent so much on the frame, lenses, and getting my eyes checked, I shouldn't have to ask. A warning to anyone buying glasses here, at Wood Vision Clinic, they don't stand behind their product. Go anywhere but here. If I could I wouldn't give even one star, because the owner can't even tell the truth, he said that's the way it is, well if that's the way it is, then I'll go elsewhere for my optical prescription.
