I spent over $300 on glasses that still cause headaches due to improper measurements and a dismissive staff. I'd advise anyone--especially those with farsightedness--to be cautious, as the technical execution here did not meet expectations. My experience with Axis Vision was disappointing, particularly regarding their technical process and customer service. As a farsighted person in my late 20s who has always used standard single-vision lenses, I was surprised when the ophthalmologist immediately prescribed the Eyezen by Essilor. This is a more expensive lens designed to help with digital eye strain by incorporating reading magnification at the bottom, but it requires extremely precise measurements to function correctly. The fitting process felt alarmingly manual for such an advanced lens. For comparison, a Zeiss SmartLife 3 lens requires digital measurements for Pupillary Distance, Fitting Height, Back Vertex Distance, and Pantoscopic Tilt to ensure the optics align with the eye. At Axis, while they used a device for my PD, the fitting height was simply marked with a Sharpie while I wore the frame. This lack of precision is a major issue because if you aren't looking through the exact "sweet spot" of an Eyezen lens, the vision becomes distorted. When I picked up my first pair, I knew immediately that something was wrong; focusing and reading were nearly impossible. When I brought this up, the staff was not helpful or forthcoming. They ignored my specific complaints and dismissively told me I just needed to "adjust" to the new technology. After a week of constant struggle, I returned, and only then did they admit to a clerical error where they had sent incorrect measurements and information to the lab. I had to wait another two weeks for a remake, and even now, the glasses are far from ideal. While I no longer get an immediate headache, I still suffer from persistent eye strain and discomfort. I don't know if Axis make more money by selling the Eyezen lenes but the experience with these has left me incredibly frustrated.

Doctor was excellent, I wasn't able to be there with my husband for my child's visit due to work, but she was willing to talk to me via phone. She followed up promptly and explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend her for any child visit. We had a great experience.

Dr. Sam was so kind, warm, and professional with our 3 year old son. She was able to get him to proceed with her examination of his eyes and he was very comfortable throughout the visit.

Dr. Sam Harris took great care of me. She listened to me about my issues with my current glasses scripts and worked with me to make sure the new script would work perfectly. I can't say enough good things about her care and desire to make things work.

I've gone to Axis Vision care for my annual vision appointments the last few years and have purchased multiple prescription glasses/sunglasses with them. They are fantastic. I never have to wait very long and they are all really friendly and professional. Also, I have a small face and struggle with finding glasses that fit right and they are always so patient and extremely helpful in assisting me to pick the right pair for me - Taylor, at the front desk, has been particularly helpful! I've been really happy with my purchases. I also really appreciate that they stay open late one day a week to accommodate people who work a 9-5. I'm about to move out of state and I'm really sad to have to find a new eye doctor because they have been wonderful.
