Whittaker Eye Associates

Whittaker Eye Associates are fantastic! We used to go there before we moved and hadn't been there in years and my husband ran out of contacts 3 days before our beach vacation and even tho we aren't current customers anymore they went out of there way to get him free trial pair of contacts to wear for our vacation! They definitely saved the day! Great customer service! Highly recommend them!

I consider having two competent optometrists in Sabetha a luxury. I've not had a bad experience with Whittaker Eye Associates. I've been seeing them since I was a child, and now that Dr. Jim Whittaker's son and daughter in law have taken over the practice, I still get the same great service. I know others have mentioned difficulties with the staff. I'm going through a rather tough fitting process for a scleral contact right now and the staff has been nothing but professional and courteous the entire time. This is another example of small town service that while not perfect, no one is, would be sorely missed if they were no longer part of our community.

Perhaps the best eye exam I ever had however due to the incompetent staff I will never be back. Three tries to get safety glasses. The first was an error the second pair they forgot to write down and ordered the wrong items so I had to go in and pick out frames for the third time. Two and a half months into my prescription Abby told me I could not order a year's worth of contacts because I didn't have enough time remaining. Might want to do your research because I just ordered a year and a half today from 1-800 contacts and can order these up until the last day of my prescription. This is a primary example of why people don't shop local because of people that don't want to do their jobs. It is a shame because I was so happy at Dr Whitaker's exam however I can't deal with the stupidity and arrogance.

Whittaker eye associates have been seeing me for about 3 years I have had nothing but the best experience in an eye doctor you can have they have a great team that treats you with all respect that is a great place to go for eye vision

Pretty thorough exams, took around 45 min. to 1 hour. But pretty nice staff.

Just needed to have a screw replaced and they were very helpful and courteous
