Very friendly staff. Parking in the garage is easy and quick. The amount of time in the waiting room was about 20 min for me.
Longer wait times once I got back to the exam room. One of the smallest selections of frames in stock I've ever seen at an eye care center - even less options for those with Medicaid insurance.
I wouldn't mind to return to this location, as it suited my needs. But I wouldn't mind to try somewhere different either.
I waited for over 3 months for this appointment. 2 weeks before the day, they called and said they had to reschedule. Luckily, it was sooner, but only by a few days. They put me on the schedule from 1:10-2:00. The place was impossible to find. I called to get help but that was unfruitful. I got here right at 1:00pm. The woman checking me in said, "Oh... this is for *you*. You brought a baby to a four hour appointment for yourself?" Well, she's 8, and I promise they would have never said that if I was a woman. She just assumed that, because I'm a man, I've got something else I can do with her. There are mothers here with their kids and I doubt very much anyone said a thing. I thought it was extremely rude for her to say. And, *FOUR HOURS*? No one ever told me anything about 4 hours! We hadn't eaten, thinking we'd just grab something afterward. We waited in the waiting room, then waited in another waiting room, and then in another waiting room... the whole thing seems to consist of being ushered from one waiting room to the next. This is a management problem. They need someone in here who can make this work better. And they've *got* to communicate to properly set correct expectations. This is crap.
We received excellent care from Dr. Bradley but the woman working in the optical shop on 9/24/25 around 2 pm was so unnecessarily rude and condescending, even my seven year old commented on it after we left. I hope she was just having an off day and doesn't regularly treat patients/customers this way.
We've been coming here for over 10 yrs now for my son and the staff and drs have been nice. We've had to switch out with 3 different optimalogist since the 10 yrs because they (the drs.) have moved onto different locations. My son has gone through 2 eye surgeries and I pray it's the last one.
We are hoping we are coming to an end to having to come to this clinic. It's over a 2 hr drive here and it is a nightmare to try getting an appointment. They are always backed up and the wait time after getting called into the rooms are very long. I know this line of work, there's uncertainty with each visit but normally we wait over 2 hrs for a 5 min visit. Then you have to deal with the parking garage. You never want to drive anything bigger than a small car to park or expect some major dings when exiting.
I truly do love the drs but this location just isn't family friendly oriented. Just needs some management organizing and this would be a top notch location.
would give 0 stars if I could. This is absolutely the worst office. The waiting time is always more than an hour. The front desk staff--especially a young girl working there now--are not friendly, not helpful, rude, and a disgrace. I had an appointment with my optometrist and waited on this appointment for 7 months. They texted and called to confirm the appointment, but not one person cared to email or text me about where I needed to park due to construction. It took me 15 minutes to find parking in the wrong place, and when I got there on time, I was told I was 5 patients behind. Why? Sorry, we are very busy! Really? Change your office and find a better one with friendlier and more caring people, especially front desk staff, who MUST greet the patients rather than scare them away! Run run
Assistants were awesome and caring but when the Dr came in Dr Katz is terrible. I feel like a big inconvenience to him and he rushes. Desperate to find a solution to my eye issues. This is my 4th time coming to try to get help and nothing but brushed off. You would think by the name Advanced eye care would be great but its very miss leading. Don't waste your time
My husband had a diabetic eye exam set up and I gave all insurance info when the appt was made and everything was fine they set up the appt. Then we get there "check in" and set in the waiting room for 45 mins before we was called back up to the desk and say we don't take your insurance. We can still see you but, you will have to be self pay. Needless to say these people are very unprofessional and don't value people's times at all. My husband and I both took off work early for this appt and missed work just to set in a waiting room for close to a hour to be told we don't take your insurance.
In case you are a first timer, like I was, I'll help you out. The entire site around this building is under construction, so park in the parking garage on transcript. Get off on the 3rd floor because there are no signs in the elevator. Bridge over to the correct building. Follow the sign. Your appt may be on the 4th or 5th floor. Make sure to ask because they don't tell you. I checked their website beforehand to see where to park and none of this is mentioned so it made me late. Otherwise, the assistant and Dr were very nice and professional. I had a good exam and the parking was free.
